0 management skills across the board.I was falsely accused by second shift supervisor named "barry blassingame" of maliciously taping some paper up over a window on a door as if to imply i was trying to hide or obstruct the view of what i was doing. Thankfully my supervisor set him straight and told him that paper had been there for months.Well i wrote a letter to production manager midge berry explaining how someone falsely accused me saying if barry cant produce the name of whoever he claimed told him that lie, then it should be assumed that barry made it up himself and can no longer be trusted. I NEVER receieved any word back on this, nor did i recieve any form of apology.Midge even tried to lie to me and say "no no no nobodys accusing you of anything" to which i respectfully informed her ive already seen the email so i know thats a bold faced lie, she instantly broke character and quit trying to calm me down and said "who showed you" to which i had to give up my supervisors name, which caused him not to like me anymore haha what a show. So basically i tried to clear my name and it only made everyone retaliate against me

Recieved a final written warning for "excessive lunch breaks" despite never having recieved an initial written warning NOR did i even recieve a verbal warning. One of the days they were crying about they pulled the cameras and timed me being 3 minutes over ? and im on 3rd shift by the way so you already know 1st shift is even more strict. Also this place has a big problem with having too many chiefs and not enough indians, for example production manager midge berry tells me no overtine has been approved and we cant even come in 5 minutes early, she wanted us to clock in on the dot basicallyWell after weeks of this my supervisor one night cried that i wasnt in my work room at 11:00 on the dot, i informed him midge hasnt approved any overtime and that if i must clock in at 11:00 im not gonna be in my room within 60 seconds. He (thomas sullivan) then tells me that "hes in charge now" and that he couldnt quite tell me i could come in early, but if i take the risk and come in early anyways that he will most likely approve the overtime pay??? That does not a bit of good for me if you cant assure me your word is bond. Again i informed midge berry about this and havent recieved any type of response as to whos actually in charge or who i should be listening too. Absolute clown show at the fountain inn location

Horrible treatment to good workers.I worked spreading and firing operation both for well over a year and then transfered to the shaping department, everything was fine untill my supervisor jimmy cisson left and production manager midge berry took over.First off she implemented a system called "rotation" where even tho i left firing operation because i couldnt handle the air conditions any longer, they decide nah they changed their mind and that i dont get to do my new job i transfered to but only every other 2 weeks (2 on & 2 off) making me and the other worker have to essentially be responsible for knowing 2 jobs worth of knowledge while only being paid for one job and only being recognized for one job in our title (bad representation because now my new supervisor thomas thinks im an idiot and havent been running both departments for years because he doesnt see in my title that i ever was a firing operator)This place was good when i started but now they are trying to run over their best workers hoping we will be spineless about it. Even when i worked on 1st shift i couldnt take a vacation if any other worker was out because we only had 3 workers and had to have more than 33% of our work force present. They REFUSED to hire us more help, swore up and down we were fine as we are, yet the minute i move to shaping to get away from the kiln mess they decide to get more help FINALLY, but in the form of making me run both jobs???Just realised how big of a fool i was for allowing this to happen as long as it did

Do not work for this company. They will over work you and under pay you as well. The HR department is terrible they make up policies as they go and change them to fit what they want them to be not benefiting the employees at all. They mess up your check as well and come up with all sorts of hidden policies to make it look right. When you quit (with a 2 week notice) they take back your vacation days from your last check. It is poorly managed, no communication amongst the regular floor employees. I do not recommend this company for employment.
