“First time using Super-Sod and I've given them 5-stars, so you know I'm going to say nice stuff. Ordered 3 big yellow bags of leveling mix for delivery. Online ordering was intuitive. Communication with Super-Sod concerning delivery, and on the day of delivery, was flawless.
Their delivery guy, Scott, was on time. Now, "delivery guy", "driver", whatever, doesn't describe the professionalism of Scott. He is the benchmark for all customer-facing employees. Professional, courteous, polite, respectful of our property, pride in his appearance, and clear-headed....at 7:20 AM. Geez, I need a pot of coffee before I can talk to people that early in the morning. haha Oh, and he wielded that forklift like it was an extension of his own body.
Thank you, Scott. You truly are awesome. Super-Sod is fortunate to have him onboard, and a sign the folks doing the hiring can spot excellence. It's settled then. We will be purchasing the approx. 10 pallets of sod and compost from Super-Sod.”

“Love getting my plants here. The staff are so friendly and helpful. They have a wide verity of plants from flowers to vegetable plants to herbs. They also have other garden supplies as well. The prices are reasonable. 10/10 recommend. I don’t normally write reviews but they deserve the shout out!”

“I've been to every nursery from Columbia, SC to Lake Norman, NC and Wilson's is easily the best nursery in the Charlotte area. Especially for seasonal color, bedding plants, perennials, veggies and even tropicals. Don't think twice about making the trip if you're even an hour or more away during the spring. You can spend hours there mulling over the selections and it is also a beautifully maintained nursery. Prices for annuals and veggies are great and they perform wonderfully. The difference between annuals I buy from Wilson's compared to Big Box stores is night and day. Much healthier and will grow double or more the size of Big box offerings for the same plant.PRO TIP: It can get crazy in the spring and the parking can be tight. Leave your nursery carts outside the covered areas when shopping and take the plants back to your cart as you pick them out. All the people trying to push carts up and down the narrow aisles on a spring weekend can make it impossible to move and look around, so just park your cart over by the nursery stock and put some plants on it so it won't get taken. Also the staff is very helpful and ask if you don't see a plant or if your looking for a certain type. There is a lot more nursery stock and they may even give you a ride to the back on a utv to go find it.”

“This place is decievingly large. I have driven by this place 1,000 times and even shopped in the store and never knew they had a backyard holding several types of landscaping blocks, mulches, grass patches displaying real world results from their sods and various gravels. I met my landscaper there to choose patio bricks. And a whole new world of landscaping opened up here in my own backyard.”

“Thank you, Chitwood! This will be my go to place for all stone, mulch, or topsoil. Berry was extremely kind and helpful when it came to figuring out how much stone I needed. The delivery was on time and very easy!”

“Pike Nurseries has a beautiful selection of all things landscape including flowers, shrubs, yard art, and most recently, they added real Christmas trees in the back! Walk through the double doors at the back of the store, and you're immediately hit in the face with the glorious fragrance of evergreen trees, LOVE! Inside you'll find everything from bird feeders to home decor to furniture and door mats. They even have a pet supplies corner. I enjoyed browsing the shelves but beware - their prices are quite high. I am looking forward to checking out their flower selection in the spring! Will report back.”

“Only Home Depot that sold rubber mulch. Didn't want to order online and have to wait for it to be delivered. Husband called, and they checked to ensure it was in stock.”

“Regarding Alex at the customer service desk-- Never have I met someone so incredibly knowledgeable and willing to go above and beyond for a customer. It's rare to find such talent, but Alex is all that and more and I can't speak highly enough about my experience with them.

If they're not a manager already, they should be. And whatever they're getting paid, it's not enough. Thank you, Alex, for your utmost professionalism, and thank you, Home Depot, for employing such outstanding staff!”

“I'm giving a 4 because this is better than your average Home Depot. Selection like any HD is massive and you can get even more inventory delivered to the store. Prices for most items are not the cheapest but certain items are actually quite solid for example Round Up while others are gauging like shelf liners. They are always well stocked and never have been out of the item I needed. Most departments (most) I was able to get good help quickly often just from a friendly associate walking by (not the case in places like NY, NJ, CA, south Florida or even Georgia). Cons: One area that we got no help ever was blinds / curtains, etc. the back left side of the store can be a ghost town of employees but everywhere else I always found one easily. selection of connectors for washers, dryers, etc was pretty limited.”

“When employees go above and beyond to pleasantly provide support for a product, it is worth noting. Much appreciation to the two gentlemen who helped me find the right Ryobi part for my trimmer. Thank you.”

“We go here the most between here and Lowe's. They have everything we need plus some that we don't lol. I buy my gardening stuff from here. And I have a wish list of some things that I want. I just took some photos the other day. I'll post a few. I definitely recommend Home Depot if you are looking to build, remodel, fix, replace or whatever you are working on. That will have everything you need and there prices are great.”

“By far one my best visits to a local Home Depot! We needed appliances for an upcoming project ASAP and Anita was absolutely outstanding. She was very patient and we were able locate exactly what was needed. I definitely appreciated her going above beyond to assist us and will definitely return.”

“I am very surprised by the bad reviews. The store is not the issue, if anything. Yes, Home Depot delivery is contracted out. So maybe it's a hit or miss. I have been using this store for over 20 years. I do not think it is a 2-star store. The people at the store will help you when you ask. Yes, sometimes they are short-staffed. That is the world we live in. I feel they do a good job compared to many of them. I will keep using this Home Depot store, and when I do have an issue they will make it okay in the end, they have always fixed it in the long run. I do find that I have gotten a lot more done with honey than with the whip.”

“Ian at the paint section is amazing! We are doing a home project and we had 1 million questions to ask and Ian had no problem going all over the paint department with us. Overall the prices seemed more reasonable than when we went to Lowe's and had better selection than when we went to Walmart.”
