They deserve way more than 5 stars! Allison and Matthew are absolutely fantastic. Allison guides you through each step of the process of filing taxes, and Matthew is thorough and precise when preparing! They respond so quickly, they are kind and compassionate, and they go the extra mile every single time that I’ve worked with them. I would not trust anyone more, and I wish they offered more than tax and small business support because I’d frequent their business for anything they offered! Cannot say more amazing things; if you need an incredible SC or NC accountant (federal too of course), look no further!

Prior to tax year 2021 we managed to navigate Turbo Tax sufficiently to file our returns. For tax year 2021 we decided to use NewtonCPA, PLLC and it was a great experience. The communication process was outstanding - prompt, courteous and professional. Our tax documents were simply scanned and uploaded via a secure portal on their website. So much easier than having piles of documents at home which are slippery to put your hands on at times. Signatures and payments were also handled electronically so convenience was also a big plus. Special thanks to Allison (office manager) and Matthew (CPA).

Nothing but great things to say about everyone at NewtonCPA. From the initial touch point working with the Officer Manager to the communcation with the CPA it's been a wonderful experience. The software to upload all necessary documentation is user friendly and seamless and very COVID friendly. Matthew was diligent while completing my taxes and extremely helpful with any questions I had. I couldn't ask for anything else. Great team! Thank you

Absolutely loved them and highly recommend them! I wasn't able to leave a review before for the last previous years. So doing two in one. 2018 -I moved to SC and wasn't sure how to do my taxes as my previous state didn't have State income Tax. Natalie was super nice and got me set up. Matt listened and answered all of my questions. My Taxes where done in a breeze! 2019- They helped me out with some complex issues I had that were from a few years back and that I didn't know until last year. Jesse was super helpful and made it very easy for me to understand. 2020- I moved once again and now to Texas. My taxes will once again be a bit hectic not only because of the move, but also because of Covid-19. I will not trust anyone else to do my taxes than Newton CPA.

I moved to the area almost four years ago. I was leaving my current CPA and hesitant about finding a new one, local. Almost like the "finding a new doctor" feeling. This is your private information and you want someone you can trust 100%. Newton CPA is exactly that. From my first interaction with Natalie, Matthew and staff, they're awesome. They make you feel like family and family is important!

The kindest and most professional firm you'll ever work with. They answer my questions thoughtfully and promptly, and their attention to detail has saved me (and rewarded me) with thousands of dollars. Well worth the investment and a great firm! We love Matthew as our accountant and Natalie as our organization/paperwork guru is incredible! I couldn't recommend them enough. They certainly have my business for as long as we live in SC/NC.

My husband & I moved to the area 18 months ago. We used Newton CPA for our tax returns as we had multiple states that needed to be filed & feel more comfortable having them professionally prepared. We couldn't be happier with the services from Newton CPA! Communication was prompt & professional, our returns were completed earlier than originally estimated, & we received the largest return to date! We'll definitely be returning to Newton CPA next year!

I highly recommend Newton CPA if you need your taxes done! The Office Manager Natalie Palmer was so friendly, helpful and quick to respond to my questions. Matthew Mercurio met with me and was our preparer and he was easy to talk to and knowledgeable. Nobody likes taxes, but they make it easy!
