My husband and I have had our 40’ fifth wheel at this location for about 9 months (give or take)We were explicitly told when we “moved in” the following:No overnight stays (ie, living in camper)Dispose of all trash in and around siteEtc…Now, I only mention those two (2) things because those are the items that are DEFINITELY not enforced.Over the time we have been there “waste” has definitely built up.We had our unit in sot #49Which I will admit, was perfect size and no one ever messed with our unit(we paid $150/month)The gate is opened by a code specific to your family, and it was only inoperable; once while we were tenants) please note: the gate was open so we really didn’t have any issues getting inside the gate but it wasn’t “secured “In our space ; we definitely had a couple issues. Not because of the owner/operator but because of the 2 or 3 men living in about 3 sites down from us.Once his car was parked in the middle of the “road” and we were back from a week out and trying to park our unit.We already knew they were living in the little camper (s) there it was so obvious they had chairs out during weekends and a generator running periodically as we went out to our unit)I knocked on the door of all 3 units that they reside in and nothing… no one came out and I was NOT happy.I started yelling in the units (through open windows etc.. after about 10 minutes one of the gentlemen came out. I said we’re trying to park our camper please move your truck you can’t have it in the middle of the street. He started yelling something and said it won’t start. I said well you should have pushed it out of the way. We have to park you need to put it in neutral and we will help you push it out of the way. He was irritated and I didn’t care.We pushed his truck out of the way and we parked and left.About 2 months later… SAME thing!!!But this time he just parked there and his truck was operable. When I finally got his attention to come out; he immediately said to me, “you were supposed to help me move my truck back the last time!!” I looked at him and said no I wasn’t you shouldn’t be living here and you shouldn’t have your vehicles in the roadway. He moved his truck my husband and I parked and left. These gentlemen live there. There is a good amount of stuff piled up and it seems that it’s worse on the weekends when the office isn’t open. All in all the guy’s living there, trash and unkept spaces is why we moved. Just not worth the $150 per month when the rules aren’t enforced.

Well, where should I start! I was a current cutomer when I was asked to do some work for Annie and Dean Cullon at thier personal property. Upon completion the job was inspected and I was paid in full. I was askes if I would be interested in giving up my "pull through spots" in exchange for a cheaper back in spot and cordially agreed. Almost immediately I began getting texts from Dean with accusations of messing with wife and he wanted my property gone from the Emerald Lakes facility. He then stated the spot I was newly assigned was not actually a spot and I had to leave. Annie immediately set that portion right. Fast forward several months of paying with no more issues. I pulled up to the gate, put in my code and recieved a message that it was denied. Being late to get my daughter I called multiple times and messaged with no response for 3 days. The last time I called Dean answered and stated I wasnt supposed to be there so I asked qhy. He then stated for being innapropriate with my wife and non payment. I AGAIN told him I wasnt interested and had been trying to make payment for 3 days. He refused payment multiple times. He then began sending emails evicting me with only the reasons of illegal parking basically (which I was assigned) and non payment (which I had tried to do many times at his refusal! Word to the wise....if you don't want to be drug into someones personal marriage issues stay away from the Cullons. I sincerely hope he gets counseling soon as he has MAJOR issues. You may be the one to pay the price for his personal issues and insecurities! In the meantime tbere are other owners that I run into on a regular basis and will be talking to and showing all the emails, texts, and let them listen to ALL the recirded calls from all the way back before I did work for the Cullons. I keep detailed records and keep it all for my business. Please seek some counseling....you need it!!!!

Emerald Lakes storage is fantastic! The owners have been incredibly accommodating for my and my business over the last year, helping me move and expand spots, change locations, change payment options. Overall it has been a great experience and I’m glad I’m able to run my company out of a storage facility as easy, and secure as this one!
