Dr Robby is the best! I adopted my cats from the humane society next door and I can’t believe I went to another vet before going to Carolina Place. The staff is all amazing and caring. When one of my cats needed emergency surgery they worked us in to their schedule so I didn’t need to go to an emergency vet that wanted more than 3x the price. Absolute life savers!

My dog Molly is having some eye problems and I believe that they have both our interests first. the vet always tells me the truth without sugar coating it. And I truly believe that they try to get me out of there without spending more than I have to. I take my dog Molly my dog Sammy and my dog Deb there and I think of them as family so I wouldn't take him anywhere I thought they wouldn't get good care. oh and I forgot to say some of their vet techs or whatever they're called man they're really good like they make the dog as comfortable as they can be and you can tell that they're like animal people All right drop the mic that's all I got to say.

Very expensive clinic. Priced high but everything is done behind closed doors, often did not see progress in our pets. And a different clinic was shocked that the vets here didn't prescribe a special food to combat symptoms. Do not recommend

Can’t say enough nice things about Carolina Place Animal Hospital. We found them after we got our puppy. We called every vet in our area no one would see him that day. Carolina Place Animal Hospital said we could bring him in immediately. Unfortunately, he had parvo. They did everything they could to save him. I could tell the tech was even upset. She truly cared. We have since brought all of our fur babies here. Everyone has been so nice and helpful.

The office staff are always very accommodating. The vet tecs seem very competent except for one young man who needs to learn not to argue with clients. Dr. Chappell did awesome surgery a number of years ago when my dog was attacked by a German Shepherd. However, recent events have been very unsettling. My sheltie became very ill and he was diagnosed with pancreatitis. He was in the clinic for about 5 days on IV's. A total of three blood tests were done, but no copies were sent to me. While he was there Dr. C asked if he had allergies to anything, but he had none that I knew. I was shocked at how bad his eyes were when I picked him up. He was prescribed 500 MG metronidizaole and was on it for 25 days before I took him off it. His physical balance was not normal, but I blamed it on what he had been through until we had an evening where he would not stand, etc. etc. Upon research we discovered that all of this behavior and his eye issues were results of overmedication. It seems a 20 pound dog should have a dosage of 100 to 200mg for a maximum of 10 days not 500 mg. I thought we were going to lose him, but he began to improve immediately after we took him off the medication. Within four days he was back, physically and neurologically to what he was before the pancreatitis attack. I felt the clinic needed to know so they don't, perhaps, be the fault of a death of a dog that isn't so resilient as this guy. I have learned to never give a dog medication that I have not personally researched, and I hope this clinic will learn something from our experience.
