The appt. live visits are really good. The bad is the time from sending in a question or need for a med. to the response.I have a message to the doctor from Jan 26 that has not been answered as of today, which is Feb 1. That is totally unacceptable to me and anyone.

Dr Ward is the best primary care doctor I have been to. She’s very professional and personable. She doesn’t treat you like a number.

It was ok! Sometimes I don't feel heard by my particular provider. It seems she just brushes things aside.

My initial visit was great. So glad I changed to Dr. Harris from my former Dr.'s. My 2nd visit was great too. I don't know how to start a new review, but as for my last visit w/ Dr. Harris: she was absolutely wonderful. Unfortunately I forgot to ask a few things, and that's going to mean another visit...not her fault, but mine.

I am having surgery on Monday. I was told yesterday more info was needed. I was in a panic. The staff at Atrium was so reassuring telling me not to worry they would take care of me and they did!! Thanks to them I did not have to reschedule my surgery.

Great experience, Dr Glass was very knowledgeable, professional, and gave me time to discuss anything that might have been on my mind about my health care.

I waited and waited for a referral that never came. Called 3 times concerning the referral and was promised that the referral team would take care of it. In the end I had to call and make my own appointment with a specialist, but was pushed out because of the 10 days I waited for the office to handle the referral. I still have not heard back from the referral team concerning the specialists to be seen. Very disappointed with the lack of follow-up from the office.

This critique was shared with Barnett Family Medicine a few day ago. Please allow me to say at the outset--The following is based on a couple of years observing Dr. Tami Harris. Dr. Harris bedside manner in inadequate! Over a year ago Dr. Harris repeatedly used the word "Sugar" when referring to "Blood Glucose" vs using the professional term " Blood Glucose" or "Blood Sugar" I politely asked her to please use the correct term when addressing me--This term coming from a professional harken back to a time when some medical professionals talked down to certain Americans--this type of rhetoric is unacceptable and unprofessional in modern day medicine. The doctor facial expression changed--she was not happy that I raised this issue with her, she was steaming! Nonetheless, I assumed she would consider my feeling. I was not correct.Bad examples of bedside manner include talking down to patients, dismissing their concerns, failing to listen to them or being rude. Dr. Tami Harris displays all of the above! On a subsequent visit--she said "Sugar" "Sugar" "Sugar" when I asked a question--this was her attempt at being facetious, I did not think it was funny! Dr. Harris does not like to be challenged by her patients, her management should take note of this and help her improve.I wanted to get my blood typing done--I had an appointment with the Providence Road lab for the Urology Dept, I asked Dr. Harris to write the order for blood typing--I wanted to get both done at the same time--she refused, saying they would not honor the request--she was not correct, the lab tech told me they could do it. On the second request, I insisted Dr. Harris write the order, she did, the lab tech ran the test--I am O positive. The results are in the system. for the above reasons, I have changed doctors at Atrium Primary Care Family Medicine. Dr. Tami Harris would be served well by reading "White Fragility " by Robin Diangelo! This is not taught in medical school!
