““The Shark Store” — a cute, little landmark for kids visiting Folly.
Good news (compared to previous reviews), there was not a woman behind the counter when we were there. Items were organized on the shelves; tight walking area but typical for what we find in most beach-themed stores. Gentlemen was friendly at the counter; he seemed to be the owner perhaps as we saw him run the counter of the across the street shop two hours prior.
It’s your typical beach shop. Lower ended-quality toys, location branded apparel, sunglasses, flip flops, beach gear, mugs and magnets, etc. The selection was almost identical to the shop across the street; we felt it could have more variance / things that make it different (having that shark out front is such a landmark to capitalize on to make the store memorable). I didn’t see much modern, contemporary items but they did have a commemorative pin which we bought.”
“What a great group of people at this boutique! I have shopped here for years and had a shipping issue on my last order. Liz was exceptional! She went the extra mile to make sure everthing was perfect! Love the selection and price points, but I love the service even more.”

“Thrilled with my first-ever purchases this week at Love Bella (classic brown jacket for fall, two pair of high-rise flare jeans, and a flattering white top that works for soccer games and work)!! And honestly, I wanted to take home nearly everything owner both Jessica & Tara selected for me to try on! The store has a variety of fall dresses, trendy tops, colorful, cute, comfortable sweaters, the most-comfortable, trendy jeans (including winter white) and unique fall jackets. Whether you need to up your style for work or are a working mom, like me, and need clothes that work both in office and at while hauling your kids from school to soccer games, Love Bella knows what you need, or at least they knew what I needed. I am a down-to-earth, 40-year-old mom who does not want to lose my style. I just want to keep with feeling pretty, classy and sometimes attractive, and Love Bella helped dress me to feel this way this week! Such a fun shopping experience! “My favorite consignment store in Charleston! They keep their floor inventory small relative to other consignment stores in the area, but the quality of each article is off the charts. The selection is majority contemporary/classic staples, and there are many designer pieces available without ridiculous prices or "old lady" vibes. They have regular tag sales and a frequent shopper rewards program, which I love. For reference, I am 30 years old, 5'10", and size 12/14. I work in sports and the healthcare industry, and I occasionally don professional wear for meetings and events. I would consider my personal style to be coastal cowgirl meets bohemian, and I prioritize comfort and fabric quality. My only qualm is that the shoes are never in my size (10.5-11/42), but it's always slim pickings for larger shoe sizes! All things considered, I can always find something new to me here, and every piece I purchase stays in my closet permanently.”

“Amazing customer service from the staff today in store from Tyler and another dude with glasses whose name I unfortunately didn’t catch. Everyone seemed to care about their store, from the way they interacted with the customers and how organized and clean the sales floor was. A very pleasant change from the usual icy demeanor of a lot of the Downtown Charleston retail stores on the strip. 100% will be back for all my future vans needs. I also want to shout out Dylan for giving me very knowledgeable and kind service over the phone around a week prior to this and originally made me want to make the trip downtown to try out this location.”

“Only the 2nd time visiting, first in Nashville. This is definitely my new favorite store to shop for men’s clothing. Although it has a good price tag, the quality in clothing is there. The staff are always super friendly and helpful. They seem to enjoy helping out customers and interacting with them. I’d highly recommend checking out this place. Also good a nice clean classic car!”

Kim spent time discussing what we were going to do and, let me tell you, it’s obvious that Lom takes master classes, etc to keep on the cutting edge. “As someone who doesn’t terribly enjoy clothing shopping I gotta say I am so glad I was so uncomfortable I needed a new outfit today!! I wish I got the two employees names at the register, so sweet! Kitty was helping me on the floor, I walked out of there feeling on top of the world! The customer service in this store was nothing short of fantastic!!On another very important note, I expected to walk in see clothes I loved saw the price tag and not even try it on for that fact. Very reasonable especially for the location and living in 2023. Not only did I try on multiple things, but I bought three items I am very pleased with!
