Attention!!!!! Anybody looking to get into surfing or if you are a long time surfer I wouldn’t recommend anybody else than oceans immediately when you walk in a woman named Clara and her friendly staffwill assist you with your board buying process and make you feel comfortable while you’re doing it!!! very affordable boards very pleased with my experience

They were great when I rented a board on a pretty messy day at Folly. I appreciated the employee's attitude about just having a mindset to have fun, because that is my general attitude about surfing as well. I am in Isle of Palms each summer with family and I will definitely head over and rent from these folks again next year!

Ocean Surf Shop is nothing short of spectacular. The staff are incredibly kind, outgoing, and are always very willing and happy to interact with you, answering whatever questions you may have. They don’t relegate themselves to staying behind the counter and I can always tell they very genuinely care.I bought my Gary Wilson longboard from them, and in the entire process—from initial browsing and selection to even include post-sale support— they were absolutely phenomenal. Every step of the way. They educated me and helped me make an informed decision that led to buying a board that I love taking to the water every weekend.I’ve honestly never had an experience at Ocean Surf Shop that didn’t meet or exceed the standards they’ve already set in my mind.I cannot recommend this place enough. Thank you!

I was recommended by a local friend to go here for any surfing needs. After my experience, I will be saying the same. The crew that helped me out went above and beyond my expectations of help and information. I moved here a year ago, got surf lessons and wanted to buy a board. They walked me thru maintenance, storage and transport. Thanks for all the help! I’ll be back :)

Awesome people here! Great boards and gear as well. Jeff was very helpful and full of knowledge.My wife worked with Gary to find a new surfboard for the waves at IOP on the days we want to catch waves closer to the house.
