A very cute store, a lot of nice clothes, but, i came in last night at my last day on folly beach and bought a jacket, two anklets, and a keychain. I paid about $70 and when i got back to the car to leave i opened my bag and realized one of the anklets were not actually put into the bag. I understand the cashier may have just accidentally knocked it off the counter or missed it but i’m super sad that i paid for it and did not get it, it was the prettiest one :(. there’s no way i could’ve dropped it because i never once opened the bag until the car ride home, it went straight from the store into the car.

“The Shark Store” — a cute, little landmark for kids visiting Folly.
Good news (compared to previous reviews), there was not a woman behind the counter when we were there. Items were organized on the shelves; tight walking area but typical for what we find in most beach-themed stores. Gentlemen was friendly at the counter; he seemed to be the owner perhaps as we saw him run the counter of the across the street shop two hours prior.
It’s your typical beach shop. Lower ended-quality toys, location branded apparel, sunglasses, flip flops, beach gear, mugs and magnets, etc. The selection was almost identical to the shop across the street; we felt it could have more variance / things that make it different (having that shark out front is such a landmark to capitalize on to make the store memorable). I didn’t see much modern, contemporary items but they did have a commemorative pin which we bought.

Bad service - wouldnt accept a return on a defective product. Product was not damaged by me. The ink from the logo smeared on the shirt
Yes I got rude to the girl behind the counter only after she told me that you said that I could not exchange the defective shirt. Folly Beach should be ashamed to have a business that is so unappreciative to the visitors .

Decent sized beach shop that seems to have everything you would want, from shorts to shot glasses and beach toys. We always stop in and get matching hoodies every year because these guys have the best sale rack items. Friendly service definitely stop by!

Today at 7:20pm Memorial Day Monday may 29 a lady was at the counter and me any my kids moved a couple of things around not a lot probably 3-4 things and this lady started cursing us out and claiming she was going to fight us and call the police on us if we didn’t pick the four things that we left out up. PLEASE GET THIS WOMAN FIRED. We were being very respectful and she started to curse us out and act like she was going to fight my daughter while she was putting things back.

Nice store, good selection. But the cashier who was there an hour ago, VERY disgruntled, VERY unprofessional and impatient. I'll be praying for her, I mean that.

Such a rude worker or owner. Not sure who was there but she was just so unpleasant with us, spoke to us very rudely, barely attended to us at the counter and unpleasant experience overall. Wouldn't want to give them my business, just rather go either next door or across the street. Honestly ruined the morning at the beach. Never recommend going there, give another business your money

So we go in to buy our grandchildren some t shirts my wife ask the lady if she had a x large in some shirt the lady was not friendly at all we went to look at some more shirts she went to where we were and being folded the shirts we just look at never offers to help us rude rude !!!! This was Thursday October the 7 around 11:00 am we went down the road to the next shop and spent 120 dollars you lost a big sale if you own this Native shop I would teach my employees a little customer service!!!!!!

Terrible service. Decent things except the bracelets/necklaces, me and my siblings all bought some and the next day they were ALL BROKEN! We took them back literally the next day and the lady at the desk said "no receipt no exchange". Wasn't even asking for money back just an exchange and she said "NO"! I asked if anyone around even sold the same brackets, she said "no but our policy is you need the receipt." I told her I was never given a receipt and she said yeah that happens. Absolutely terrible customer service, I was going to go back the next day and buy a cool present for my dad but now I refuse. Be cautioned if you shop here! Extremely dissatisfied!!

Native is one of the few souvenir shops that line Center Street in the heart of Folly Beach. Situated about 3 blocks from the beach, they offer a wide variety of Folly branded items such as shirts, hoodies, hats, magnets, cups, etc...along with other items such as stickers, toys and random Knick knacks. The store is jammed with merchandise, so not a lot of room bigger parties or crowds, but with the lack of walking space, they made sure to capitalize and use all available space for merch! Service has meh. The lady behind the register barely spoke, and her attempt was during the transaction at check out and was surrounding receipt options. Outside of that, especially when I was actively shopping, she was not interested, even though I was the only one in the store. I ended up buying something, but the service left me less than enthused about a return visit. Overall, they had a wide selection of keepsakes. If service was better, it would make all the difference!

My sister was trying on some sunglasses here and one of the workers started interrogating her asking if those are the store's or not. I mean we are normal customers trying on some of the merchandise, so why are we being interrogated?

Native is a good spot to buy beach clothing and gifts at Folly Beach. They have a great selection of items to choose from and good prices on everything. the staff is friendly and helpful at finding exactly what you need. I can always find a good gift for everyone I am looking for here. This store is awesome.
