Captain Randy was amazing. Let’s start by saying we had the most fun we’ve had on the water. We book a charter with Capt. Randy. He immediately confirmed our reservation and showed up on time to pick us up. We got to explore parts of this area. We would’ve never been able to see before. Book early if you’re Lucky enough. Can’t wait to Catch some fish the next time we have the Whole day off.

Capt. Randy knows his stuff!! Not only can he navigate the tidal waters of Folly Beach blindfolded, but he can use his 6th sense to lead you straight to where the dolphins are strand feeding. I've had the pleasure of hopping on Randy's boat a half dozen times over the years - both for fun and for work. I can't say enough good things about him and know that you'll be happy if you spend a few hours on the water with Island Hopper Charters.

Fantastic experience by the best guide on the island, Captain Randy is incredibly knowledgeable about local wildlife and offers the best access to Morris Island for great views and lots of shells. We have gone with him every year for our thanksgiving trips to Folly Beach and it’s always one of the highlights of our trip. Definitely recommend, good for all ages and abilities to have an amazing time.

Capt. Randy is the absolute best. This is the second time we've gone out with him, once for a Lighthouse tour and this time for an eco/dolphin tour. We couldn't have had a better time! He's awesome and knows where to go in the Folly/Charleston area, tons of dolphins and other wildlife! We will certainly go again!

We first met Randy 20 years ago when we were just a family of four, with two little boys ages 3 and 5. A quick developing storm came in and Randy took us to his house, turned on SpongeBob and brought out the goldfish. A bond was forever formed! He is a skilled boat captain with safety always being paramount and has a vast knowledge of the history and wildlife of Folly beach. We have been coming back every summer for two decades and Randy has watched our family grow to three boys and this summer will host our grandson! Our boys think of him as Uncle Randy! Our time with him is ALWAYS the highlight of our trip!

Captain Randy Island Hopper Boat Tours. Great guy. Treats you like family and makes the boat ride fun and safe for all ages. He has a lot of knowledge of Folly Beach and Morris Island. He loves to stop along the way and point out the dolphins and other wildlife. My Family and friends have been back almost every year since.. 2006. We had a different boat captain one year and it just wasn't the same. I highly recommend Captain Randy.- Thank you Randy for the many memories!

Captain Randy is amazing, We have been going to Morris Island to hunt for starfish and watch the dolphins for close to twenty years now, we've never felt rushed, and Randy always had a smile on his face.

This was the highlight of our time at Folly Beach. Captain Randy has a wealth of information and history and is so personable. He knows the waterway and gave us unique experiences to see the lighthouse and literally get to the edge of America. A private tour is so much more intimate.

My family and friends have been taking boat tours with Captain Randy for over twenty years. We have had a wonderful time every time. Randy has watched us become parents and our kids grow over the years and it’s so wonderful to be able to let our kids share the amazing experiences that we have all had together. Randy is such a great captain, tour guide, and friend! Cheers!
