After sitting on Folly Rd for an hour, crossing INTO Folly, there's a sign that says County Park FULL. Heres a thought, but the sign up wayyyy before the bridges so people don't waste their whole day. And give us back parking at the pier so we can visit the local restaurants. We LIVE here and get put on the back burner.

It's a little expensive to park there, $15 for all day and $20 during holidays. Took a friend from out of town there on the 4th of July 2024 and Folly was packed in general but there was plenty of available parking. Its a very kept facility. Super clean bathrooms, functioning showers, change rooms and the beach access boardwalks are in amazing conditions. And it wasn't crowded at all like the rest of Folly Beach was.

Great place for a day at the beach, perfect areas for the kids to play as well as get rinsed off and change before loading back up and travel home. If you can find parking close enough to walk to the park, it's free to enter. If not then they charge to park on site.

Came here with friends around 5pm on the weekend and it was a good idea and not too busy . If you have the parking pass it makes it really easy to access this side of the beach . I would highly recommend it . The opposite side of folly beach can become really crowded so I suggest the county park side.
Picnic area: Plenty of space for a great time with friends for a picnic
