It has a lot of what I need for a fraction of the cost. Some of the clothes are smaller than the sizes in other stores, but I got a DVD player for 20 bucks that lasted 5 years and a coffee pot for 15 I'm still using. The flowers for the Graves are as good as any in the florist shops and cost less.

My husband and I just went to Roses on Irby street in Florence to pick up a couple of things. When we got to the check out, I ask the cashier “ How are you? ( I always do) Ms. Nicole never said a word. When she gave me my total it wasn’t loud enough for me to hear her, and when she handed me my receipt, I said “ thank you, have a nice day”.. she still wouldn’t even look at me! When I worked in the public I would have gotten fired for treating someone like that! Just plain rude. If you don’t like your job, quit and get another one.

The customer service and management is aweful.i purchased clothing from the Darlington store and it didn't fit so I went to the Roses at south park store to exchange it but since they had the item marked down and my receipt had regular price they wouldn't let me, I can see if I didn't have a receipt.the manager said....you need to take it to where you bought it from.she wasn't polite at all so I guess I'll be shopping in Darlington and at the Hartsville Roses store.

I'm not sure what to make of Rose's, I've only recently discovered it in Columbia, and again here in Florence. It has little of everything, maybe you might say it is a poor mans Walmart. There's electronics, clothes, dry food goods, small amount of table desks, toys, grills, seasonal items, home goods, gift cards, birthday cards. Unlike Walmart they don't sell tires or have bakery deli meats. There are some name brands I've heard of, for instance I saw a Phillips brand 50" smart TV for $349, that could be a good buy but how comfortable you are taking the chance is up to you. If you like finding deals then you should spend time in store see what you see.

i love this store. Been shopping at this store on Irby St , Florence SC many many years. If i stopped shopping here you would not miss me. If all the money I spent here over all the years was taken away, you would notice. My family moved here in 1966, I was 17 now I'm 71 and 72 in May. I like to move isle to isle looking at everything and your great prices. I'll stroll throughout the entire store , time permitting. Couldn't say enough good about this ROSES. Recently I finished looking and remembered i needed a power pack or phone charger. Now I don't know how much I look like a shop-lifter in a grey hoodie, on camera but I got this feeling when I heard over the speaker "SECURITY TO _______" . I was in electronics looking at my power pack. And opening it to check it out. (NOTE: i sometimes i will open if i know I am going to purchase} this lady comes over close to me and watches. I ask her a question about this product ... she says "BUY IT AND TRY IT" .. i WAS INSULTED. I did get one at Walmart. What should I do???? Karl Ford

This store is awesome. I am from NY originally and boy does this store bring back memories. This is a great all in one discount store. You can get gardening supplies, to bathroom mats, to candles, crackers and infant clothes. Literally everything short of perishable foods. Everything I come here looking for one this I leave with a cartful!!!!!

The longer you stay in roses the more things you buy mostly flawed clothing items add an extremely low price they do pretty much have everything from Soup To Nuts some of them are walking around the store Wednesday is senior day I'm not sure if they give you 5 or 10% off the place is full of little old ladies and the quality of the flawed clothes is excellent just look it over before purchasing to see if there's anything that's really out of place other than that five stars for roses sometimes check out takes a little while

Awful, would not give money back, even though the tags were on the clothes. What do they think I stole them? I will never shop there again or recommend them to anyone.
