Dr. Burnett and his staff have taken care of my babies for many years. They are reliable, compassionate and professional. This week I had to let my girl, Patty (Patience) go. She blessed my life for 15+ years. Dr. Burnett and the techs were incredibly supportive and compassionate. I can't stress that enough. They made a difficult decision easier and made sure that Patty was comfortable during it all. She never suffered and just drifted off to sleep in my arms. They gave me all the time I needed with Patty. I just can't say enough good things about Dr. Burnett and the techs.

We love this vet office. When trying to find a vet in Sumter to see my sick dog was unsuccessful I found Dr. Bruening. She and the staff have been awesome. I could not ask for better service, availability, communication and results. Dr. Bruening and the staff have treated me and my dogs like family. I am so glad I found them.

Only giving this because of the receptionist up front. she is extremely rude and does not care if you are taken care of or not. my husband and I both have had problems with her multiple times and we have thought about changing vets because of her. I have also spoke with the office manager about this person and they seem to not be bothered by the attitude they give and had a little bit of an attitude as well. We are giving one more chance. If we Have the slightest bit of problems we will change vets. We have been going for 8 years so we really would hate to change but I refuse to give my money to someone that is so rude. I also think if you can be rude to a person I hate to know how you may treat an animal.

I have been here a few times and I have not been impressed any of these times. Their staff isn't overly friendly. Their doctors are alright. Nothing special and their prices are crazy high.

I recently moved from FL with my 4 cats. A couple months ago (June) I had to bring one in for a check up because he was having diarrhea and going outside his box. The Doctor decided to do x-rays and blood work, etc... So at the end she prescribed him an antibiotic and a medicine to bind up the stool. Everyone was great but the BILL $$$$ was DOUBLE + (extremely high) than any other veterinarian I have every been to in the last 30 years that I owned animals. (I had to bring one of the cats to an Emergency Hospital in February off of Irby, that bill was literally a few hundred less, would of went back to them but they are only emergency).... So recently one of my other cats was sick with UTI in which he gets them easily. I fortunately found an "Animal Hospital in Florence" that was much more in line with prices, plus no unnecessary steps to keep charging me for, they truly cared about my cat and my wallet. In Summary; Staff was nice, Doctor did her job, Price $$$ way, way, to High for Services Rendered.

Dr. Tice is the absolute best! Not only does she have an amazing amount of knowledge, she’s also very passionate about what she does. She goes above and beyond every time! We couldn’t ask for a better vet!

They will make you wait hours, charge your absurd amounts, and do nothing to help !!! Wasted three hours here when I could have been somewhere else that can actually help. If you love your pets, go somewhere else!!!!
