Had a head gasket replaced and they had the car for TWO MONTHS. They did not do a diagnostic to make sure the engine was correctly reinstalled . We drove it a total of 14 miles when the ignition coil was supposedly bad. Jon’s tried to charge us to fix it. The man was rude and disrespectful.

Imagine being called an auto body technician and can't perform surgery on a car. How does a simple headlight assembly lead to them possibly further damaging my car and not fully putting the bumper back on? Where do I start...I am beyond frustrated, So I got three different quotes and was recommended this place by Mirror Finishes. First quote East side auto is $120, Tony's auto is $160, and Jon's auto is $140. I chose this location because I lived less than 5 minutes away. The woman at the desk quoted it to me and said that the price was final or else I would not have even entertained leaving my car with them. So she called me on the morning of 12/20/23 around 10 am or so and said hey Leonard your car is ready by the way I may have misquoted the price. The new total is $281 and her reason for this was and I quote "They had to drop the bumper" Every other technician already knew this, and so did I, but they didn't. I told her I was not about to pay almost $300 when I was quoted $140. After us going back and forth and her lying repeatedly I mean this chick can lie without a conscience after realizing I am not going to budge they call themselves putting back on the old headlight. Can you imagine going to a restaurant and ordering a $10 hamburger and the waitress coming back with a bill of $300 saying they had to go to a farm, kill a cow, grind the meat, season it, and have it prepared by Chef Ramsay? "That's the devil out of hell". ??Lord have mercy this is why I struggle with dealing with humans. I guess that if it turns out that they have caused further damage to my car or the brand-new headlight I bought for them to put in I will send a demand letter,File a BBB complaint, File in small claims, and File a complaint with a government agency.This is truly ridiculous I wouldn't recommend these brain-dead idiots to repair the handlebars on a bike. We are in the South so who knows maybe the color of my skin played a role in all of this but you forget that we live in one the greatest nations to ever exist and I plan on using the strong arm of the law if I have to. Whatever you do people do not waste your time or hard-earned money with these people.

Very pleased with the outcome of our car. Thought we were going to replace the engine but turned out to be a cheaper fix than we thought. Money is tight so I am very thankful. Its been about 2 weeks since we got our car back and no issues . Highly recomend.

Only the best service comes out of this place. I have literally been going to Jons Automotive for years! I’ve had nothing but quality service on a whole range of vehicles. The staff is always extraordinarily friendly and nice. If you were from Florence, there’s no other place to go to get your vehicle serviced other than Jons.
