The worst DMV in SC, what’s the point of having 15 desk and your only using 6 ?! Wait time is always ridiculous. The Summerville dmv is way more efficient and they have 4 times the population of Florence

By FAR the WORST dmv in South Carolina the road test graders have 0 sense , they take forever to get whatever you need and they are petty. DONT RECOMMEND

Went there in my lunchtime to get a vehicle titled and registered. Not a very long wait and the process was without issue.

I arrived around 4:40 so I was worried they would be angry since it was so close to closing. Then I was worried that they would be really busy. But, I walked right in, told the receptionist what I needed, she scanned my license and before I even got my number, my number was called. I went directly to the window and the nice woman helped me with the confusing form. I paid for what I needed and she told me it would be in the mail soon. I was in and out in about 10 minutes. That was the fastest I have ever been and everyone was so helpful and kind.

They are getting better by the day! I was in line for less than 3 minutes seen and left because what I needed was only the click of the mouse!!

Our DMV office here in Florence, has really stepped up there game. The service is outstanding & the waiting isn't long at all, & I've been there under both circumstances where the line was long & loooonger. Tks DMV & all the workers who works so hard @ resolving our matters. ?

I went to renew my driver's license around noon on a weekday and there were not very many people waiting. All 3 employees I interacted with were polite, cheerful, and helpful. From the time I walked in, it only took 20 minutes. I was very impressed at how efficient the process was. Maybe I just was just there at the right time but it was actually a good experience.
