Purchased a property from Hollace Savage on June 25th. Great experience. Communication was great and knowledgeable. She even helped us later after the storm damage with lots information and pictures. Would highly recommend!

Lots of great places to choose from, staff is quick to help. The few minor maintenance issues I've had in the past were resolved quickly. Rentals are always clean and ready on time. Everyone shows up at check-in, but they really work to get you in as quickly as possible.

Beware of 1206 Palmetto Blvd-Surfside. We just left this house after renting it for a family vacation. There are SO many issues that need to be addressed in this place! All cabinets, drawers, closets need a deep clean, pots and pans need to be replaced, there are no inside door mats to catch sand as you enter, the outside faucet for washing feet has a dilapidated hose and rusted, broken knob, the shower curtains are disgusting, looks like mold around ceiling vents, the dining chairs are all rickety. I could go on and on. I told the rental agency that they needed to seriously do an inspection here and sent pictures to them with no response.
The agency did provide us with one hairdryer when we discovered that there wasn’t one anywhere in the rental and four bath mats because our six bathrooms had none. I had to go and pick these up. We used our personal towels as bath mats in the other bathrooms and as door mats at entry doors. Just beware!

Edisto is my most favorite place. Years ago my husband and I would go down every Christmas holiday. It’s been many years since then and at my age I couldn’t see myself ever getting to go again. This year a wonderful friend (my sister in law) and I were able to go for just a weekend. Although we only had a short stay it brought back many memories for the both of us. We had discussed coming back around Christmas. We stop by Edisto Reality and picked up a couple of books to check out a place to stay. Shelley a very nice and helpful lady at Edisto Reality went a step further and looked up and marked the places that were available. While eating lunch we poured over the books and picked out the place we wanted, went back and booked our Christmas place at Edisto. My husband and I always used Edisto Reality. They go out of their way to help in every way and couldn’t be nicer.

The Capitano was highly disappointing. Read your rental agreement carefully, as many things you might expect are not included. The house was not cleaned, the screened in porch was broken and torn in multiple places, and this place doesn't offer any kind of cancellation or reimbursement. Make your decision carefully, get a place closer to the start of the island as well not the Capitano.

We requested service for the refrigerator in Palmetto Kiss, and the repairman left it unrepaired, saying he had to get parts. Didn't return that day, so called again. He returned, tore apart the freezer, unplugged the unit, and said we would get a replacement that day. Never came! Called again...We lost food and cleaned up water from the leaking refrigerator.Wouldn't it be a good thing to follow up on repair requests? I think folks would feel heard and you would know what is happening. The home was very nice, but your service was sad.Linda W

Just checked out of 3202 C Palmetto. Great location and fair price, BUT mattresses and blankets all had gross stains. Arrived after a long drive, and there was not a square of toilet paper in any of the 3 bathrooms. Mattresses had no mattress protectors or mattress pads on them, and during the final night, my daughter woke up with bug larvae crawling in her sheets!I realize that we were to supply our own linens, but that means sheets and towels.We've rented from Edisto's Best Rentals, and their beds always have not only matress protectors, but matress pads. They give you a complimentary reusable tote that has several rolls of TP, but also some dishwasher and laundry soap, a couple of trash bags and some travel sizes of shampoo, conditioner, lotion and soap. Such a better experience from them.
