This is a store I've visited and bought books on each trip to Edisto however I will never again. I observed the manager being loud, rude and demeaning to a customer in the store for no reason. I was truly hurt by the exchange and shocked. We live in a world where grace and kindness are no longer the norm. NEVER VISIT THIS BUSINESS!!!!

Great little shop with lots of interesting books and gifts. Sarah Margaret greeted us in true cat fashion, laying in the middle of the floor waiting to be Loved. Karen was so friendly, we will definitely be back.

We like coming here to find books that are local to read. With Emily Grace gone we now visit with Sarah Margret the latest kitty cat. Books here are both new and used. There are also children books that are good for young minds.

This is a really nice bookstore...lots of great new books, used books and local items. However, every single time I purchase something here I am overcharged. They don't scan barcodes, but rather type in the price and it's been incorrect every time. The first time I got a refund because I was overcharged by $19. This time it was $3 so I didn't bother, but just beware that this is a consistent practice of this store. I don't want to think it's intentional but since it's happened multiple times, I have to think it is.
