Yesterday, 12/2, i came to Marshalls to finish some Christmas shopping, (for TJX employees it was 20% weekend) the store was crowded which is expected this time of year, and things were a bit of a mess, but it wasn’t a big issue for me. Everything was great, i found everything i needed. Once i made my way to check out, my cashier was extremely nice, I didn’t catch her name but she was light skin with long dark hair, I believe she was fairly new to the store, as she needed a little extra assistance but overall she was so friendly and the transaction went smooth. The reason for my rating is, once my transaction was almost complete, a manager/coordinator (white woman with dark hair) walked over to my cashier and told her she should place my bags in the floor behind the register until my payment has processed (which okay, makes sense) but then proceeded to grab the bags out of my hand and demonstrates how they should be put in the floor. (At this time, my payment has been processed) she then glances at me and tells my cashier, “she’ll just try to steal all of this before her payment is processed” it was truly embarrassing to be told that, I am employed by TJX, and would never steal from a (discounted) retail store, so it was shocking for her to imply that, especially with me standing there. I believe it could have been said once I was leaving, not infront of me. :)
