My oldest son and I saw Dr. Pruitt and I loved his demeanor and knowledge. Unfortunately, we found another eye doctor because no one answers the phone or returns emails. It took more than 2 months to get our glasses and I had to stop in and ask because you can't get anyone to pick up the phone! I mentioned to the receptionist that no one was answering the phone and the voice-mail said it was full and she flat out ignored me. Vision Plus is not worth the hassle despite Dr. Pruitt.

I absolutely love this Dr and have been seeing him for my eye care needs for almost 20yrs. However his receptionist is absolutely horrible. She has a very nasty attitude and no customer service & or compassion. I called earlier to make an appointment and due to her horrible attitude when I called I will most certainly b looking for another Dr. This is not the first time she has had this horrible attitude when I have called or been in the office and its getting worse and very old and aggravating. Hate that it has come this far because Dr Pruitt is absolutely amazing.

I have been a patient of Dr. Pruitt’s for more than 10 years. My whole family sees him for our eye care. Wonderful staff, amazing care!

If I could give zero stars I would. Very unprofessional, ESPECIALLY the receptionist. When following up on my contact lens order after almost 90 days from ordering, Carla said it was canceled because she ASSumed I went somewhere else to get them quicker. I NEVER asked to cancel anything. Now noone will return calls, even Dr Pruitt. If you have another option, use it! Bad business at this place. My bad for trying to support my community.

Overall unprofessional feeling environment... Receptionist seemed disheveled, and service was slow. Then I had to go back, and pick up-my hand written (like a child) prescription, they refused to email or give it to me over the phone... Dated and dingy, but Dr Pruitt was very nice! But also, There hours are ridiculous and they don't answer the phones!!!!!!!!

Dr Pruitt and his staff is very very niceKnowledgeable and considerate. I have been going here for over twenty years . He is the only Dr that has nearly gotten me 20/20. Love his patience

Unbelievably rude, especially the receptionist. The optician was not very personable either, but at least she wasn't downright rude. She didn't listen to my questions, never seemed to really understand why I was asking what I was asking. I started looking at the reviews here to see if it was just me. I don't know how they stay in business.

I would give zero stars if I could. This has been the most unprofessional office I have ever been to. The receptionist with the crazy hair is extremely rude and passive aggressive. I left without seeing the dr. Please read these reviews before you make an appointment.

My son and I had our first appointment last week. Dr. Pruitt was wonderful— kind, attentive, and clearly understood what was going on with my vision.The ladies in the office were also professional and I had no issues. I had seen previous reviews so went in feeling wary, but it wasn’t necessary. Everything went smoothly!(I was actually sickened to go to my appointment and realize the woman who past reviewers had referred to as “the crazy haired lady” is a woman of color. So extremely inappropriate of other reviewers to comment on her hair! ?)

This office, and "Dr. Pruitt"- are a complete joke. Save yourself time and go see the amazing staff at Five Forks Vision!!!I called Dr. Pruitt myself to speak with him in regard to my situation, thinking that he may not know the extent of how his receptionist is treating people in such a condescending manner, and it seems that this is an acceptable behavior for his staff. He was unwilling to listen to my concerns, but was going on about how his office does not allow water in his office - which was NOT why I had a terrible experience but how his receptionist spoke to me and how she treated me. He then HUNG UP the phone on me after he kept going on about not allowing WATER in his back room and that every office in his area does not allow water in exam rooms.. which is very untrue. Pregnancy is federally protected by the ADA, Mr. Pruitt. So if this WAS about the denial of having water in an exam room, I could easily speak to an attorney about it. But it was not about the denial of water - it was about how your staff treated me from the moment I stepped foot in the door.Overall - He is EXTREMELY unprofessional, condescending, and there is a reason why this receptionist has been on staff 6+ yrs and every negative review has to do with her. I've filed a complaint with my insurance as well - and am just flabbergasted with how someone like this can run a business when they are so disgusting toward people. ****I came in today for a first time appointment because they're preferred by my insurance and ended up having a panic attack because of how rude the front desk woman was. I ended up walking out before my appointment and won't be back. It's a shame reading these reviews and I wish I did before going there, so I at least knew what to expect. Do not go here.

No one ever answers letters.I bought a pair of glasses and they never fit. I broiught them to be adjusted so that I could wear them. Woman at the front desk says well we can't do anything about that and such a nasty attitude. Finally, the other woman came to my rescue and adjusted the glasses.

Even just trying to setup an appointment here is a hassle. I called to setup an appointment for my wife and I and I was put on hold, not something I have a problem with, but I ended up waiting on hold for just short of 5 minutes before I finally disconnected and called a different doctor a bit further up the road.I also tried to contact this location last year through email to setup an appointment and never received a response. I am sure the Dr is great, but I cannot and will not recommend this facility to anyone until they fix their FOH staff.

The front desk lady is rude as well as the lady at the pick up desk. Dr. Pruitt was ok. He prescribe the wrong contact lenses, I had to go back and get different ones. Then it took almost TWO months until I got my 6 month contact supply. It’s my first time using contacts and the contacts that were given to me are not even labeled (different prescription for each eye). Every time I called to get an update on my contact order I would get told that they should be in by the next day and that was not the case. Please don’t waste your time coming here!!!!
