We stopped halfway on our drive from FL to VA. Bought our dinner nearby and enjoyed it on the lovely balcony. Beautiful house, and the antiques are incredible. Got to tinker on the baby grand piano. MIchael makes you feel like an old friend! We enjoyed every aspect!

A really beautiful historic place. Beautiful place, a lot of fascinating history, rooms were amazing, bathrooms were pristine. Best of all, Michael the owner was extremely friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend! Would definitely go there again!

Charming, old home with many antiques. Bed was comfortable, in a quiet location. Breakfast was tasty although eggs were lukewarm. Limited amenities nearby. Your stay includes a bottle of wine but choices are limited. Guests should be aware there are dogs in the house, in case of allergies.

We were greeted at the door by our gracious host, Michael, who gave us a wonderful tour of the history of this fabulous house and its contents. His collection of antiques from around the world is amazing. Thoroughly enjoyed a delicious breakfast each morning, wine and beer on the balcony in the evening, and enlightening conversation with Michael in between. We felt right at home throughout our stay!

Most amazing B&B we have ever stayed in. This home is like a museum, filled with beautiful and fascinating art, artifacts, and antiques from around the world. Michael can fill your mind with stories about everything in the house, so try to plan for a least an hour or more touring every nook and cranny in the home. This is not just a place to stay, it is a place in which to marvel at what one man has done to bring this house to life. His life story is amazing, having come from Venezuala at 18 years old with no knowledge of English. And the breakfast he cooked for us was outstanding.

The Columns is even more magical than the photos suggest. It must be seen to be believed. You can spend hours admiring the antiques tucked lovingly in nooks and crannies. Michael is a lovely host. The rooms are gorgeous and comfy. Don’t let this one pass you by!

Delightful stay at the Columns. This is a beautiful property & Micheal (the owner/manager) is quite entertaining. He made our stay special with wine on the balcony & a delicious breakfast. This is a great stopover if you are traveling north or south on I-95.

Dillon’s extraordinary B&B, The Columns is a stunning Greek Revival Antebellum, perfectly restored by its current owners, steeped in southern style where you will certainly find modern day comfort and timeless elegance under one roof! And it doesn’t stop with its stately stature, host, Michael will serve-up a delicious breakfast, maybe quiche, coffee, and seasonal fruit, plus always a funny story or two before you then realize you’re only there for a night or two. We can’t wait to return to the tradition, and style of times gone by, The Columns! Thank you, Michael and Mark, business partners extraordinaire for a perfect weekend! Mary & Rod White
