I didn't actually make it to the practice, because they told me it would cost me $87 to work my cat in. On top of the $87 there would be the regular visit. However I later did take a cat in that was a stray and they worked really hard with me to help the cat, but it ended up we had to have him put down. I was very distraught even though it really wasn't my cat. I was hoping I could get him healthy enough so he could come in with the rest of my pets. The vet was very compassionate and was kind enough not to charge me for the euthanasia. I did however have to pay $200 for just a check of the cat to see what we could do for him. I think when it's a stray cat there should be allowances made, because I cared enough to take him in for health screening. I guess that's why people just drop off cats at the vet in hopes that they will be taken care of. I do wish their prices were lower.

Just moved to the area didn’t have a vet picked out but they are definitely going to be from now on. Took care of my dog immediately and everyone from the front desk to the nurses and vet were great.

They took excellent care of my kitty, his neutering was smooth sailing. My only complaint is one of my own poverty, neuterings are relatively expensive, but this place offers more affordable care than other clinicians, they welcome all animals as their own, and they are very responsive towards any questions.

Great vet's office! Wonderful, caring staff and vets. Dr. Lucius is so nice and caring. Monroe, the vet tech, has been there for many years and is so knowledgeable. Very reasonable prices too.

Love this place reasonably priced. Can't remember the doctors name shame on me, but he was spot on with our poor little fat girl.

This is a small rural facility but the doctors and staff are friendly, kind, knowledgeable, and super effective. I have lived in this area for 5 years and have been to five other Veterinary practices in Robeson and Scotland counties and have had nothing but bad experiences. Experiences that were so negative that our animals almost died from medical mistakes in three of them. We have been driving all the way to Fayetteville to take our animals to the vet. I'm absolutely thrilled that we found Dillon Animal Hospital and relieved that our all important canine companions can finally get good healthcare!

Dr. Harris does not seem to care about animals at all and is only in it for the money. He thinks that he knows better than everybody and knows your pet better than you do somehow, even though he had just met my dog. All he saw her as was information on a spreadsheet and a paycheck. My dog had congestive heart failure and we’d have to go every 2 weeks to get her abdomen drained. She had been going to another vet prior but there was scheduling issues so we decided to try another doctor. The doctor insisted that she needed shots even though we were just trying to make her comfortable. But agreed anyway because we thought he knew what he was doing. We dropped her off because we didn’t know how long it would take. For one thing, they did not call us and tell us when she was ready. I have no idea how long she was up there by herself when she didn’t need to be. Another, he charged to see her even though we DID NOT see HIM at all. She DID NOT need an exam when she went in. We knew what was wrong and so did he. And another, when she got back, she was feeling awful and she had some kind of sticky residue on her back that wasn’t there before and I don’t know where it came from. She was obviously feeling bad but I was thinking that maybe it would wear off in the morning. But no. My baby didn’t even make it through the night and we had to bury her the next day. I know that it was going to happen eventually but, he gave her something she did not need at all and did not seem to think about her condition at all. I am completely heartbroken and I do indeed feel that the doctor completely took advantage of the situation and charged us 160 when it should have just been 95 to begin with. I will not be going back there with any of our animals and I would certainly NOT recommend him to anyone else.
