We both got fresh salads with their recipe for thousand island dressing that was really good. We also both ordered shrimp and grits that was extremely good. Sarah's Porch is a very uplifting place to eat in Darlington. If you want to eat something way better than same old junk, then head to Sarah's Porch. Breakfast is super great also

Diners in the Northeast and in the SouthEast it is the "meat and 3" for lunch. I had a business lunch with 10 without a doubt all enjoyed the distinct taste of their meals.The fried chicken plate had a large meaty breast and wing. The sausage and peppers which is what I had was portioned so there were enough peppers with each perfectly drilled, perfectly cut pieces of sausage. The chicken sandwich married the eye pleasing bun across the table and my pal gave me a thumbs up when asked if it was better than Chick fil A. Three of our group had burgers, each different and each comments that their toppings, the burger and the bun fit to maintain order. "The fine line between sloppy and manageable was right there", said one burger aficionado. I stole fries from my friends, these were hefty and crisp. I saw a huge salad, well stocked and fresh. At the end of the table I saw a wrap that was generous and neatly presented. And the sides, jeepers, like Mom's collards, lima beans and the standards, harkening back the opening in 1986 when simpler times delivered an honest complexity of ingredients. The sweet tea was not syrup and just balanced to actually taste the tea! The ambiance was casual that permitted our meeting to keep rolling. I saw many local first responders, law enforcement, public work staff from the county and other business types, retirees and families with small children. The staff were all friendly and worked as a team. Chef Candace made her rounds with a smile and her warm humble greetings. Make it your next meal when you are within the Pee Dee or are on the highway passing through.

A truly delightful place to eat. They have a set menu and daily specials. I chose the fried chicken and it was more than I could eat but wonderful. They fry it in a nice batter that’s light but so tasty. I added squash and turnip greens to my dinner and the peach cobbler. All of it was excellent but the greens were worth the trip to eat there.

Had the Swiss cheese mushroom burger with fries. The burger was large and delicious. We enjoyed the fries also.

This place is soooo good!!! I didn't really care for the Mac and cheese but the fried chicken and specially the potato salad and apple crisp was so good it will make you want to slap your mama!! Lol but gosh I will definitely be back!!! Worth the money

This is a great place! We are from New York, on our way to a convention in Florence. Saw this place & had to stop! Got the fried chicken, not greasy, just right! The macaroni & cheese was amazing! The apple crisp was tasty, but mushy & the cornbread was dry. The place was very clean, especially the bathrooms! Our server was very friendly. We would definitely go back if we were in the area again!

This restaurant is AMAZING! Order one of their burgers and you will not be disappointed! One of the best burgers I've had in a long time. Everyone was so friendly. Great beer selection. I thought the decor was fantastic. Talking to the owners, I found out he did most of the woodwork himself and she is a culinary school graduate! No wonder everything is so amazing. If you're in the area, check this place out. You won't be disappointed.

I enjoy their southern omelette but I had to pay extra for toast and the toast was served to me cold with no butter. When I asked for butter I was given "butter spread" not real butter. The wait staff was not friendly at all and it definitely created an uncomfortable atmosphere.

Totally disappointed. My husband is a racing celebrity. We had just come from the track and we were looking for good food and service. We received neither. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. DON'T waste your time.

Very good dining experience! Appetizer, main course and dessert were all really good. Price was reasonable. We had crab cakes with mashed potatoes and sautéed veggies and really enjoyed. Pina colada cheesecake was delicious. Highly recommend. Will be coming back here for sure.
