“Stocked well, cute seasonal items that are less expensive, sometimes I can find items that are not in other stores, good selection of dairy, meat and snack items. Good prices on paper products.”

No helium but helpful lady even called other business to see if they could inflate our balloons. Great selection of fresh cut flowers at a very reasonable price as well.”

“A very small town store unlike any other dollar general I’ve been to. The set up is different and they have very little staff. The cashier was about 300 years old and slow but was very friendly. Store was decently organized and clean. Parking was handicap friendly and plenty of spaces for all types of vehicles.”
“It's a good thing some grocery chains still make an effort to serve rural communities, so I applaud The Pig for that. The downside is that prices are much higher on many items because incremental operating costs are higher at low volumes. Rural communities are much poorer than their suburban counterparts yet they are being asked to pay more for the same groceries. There has to be a better solution.”

“For one epic day this location hosted an impromptu gathering of celestial aficionados to observe the Total Solar Eclipse of 2017! The staff was delightfully overwhelmed as all manner of purchases were made. Luckily, the clouds cleared and we all basked in totality! AWESOME!!!”
