Vehicles they sell are horrible. They sell them knowing they need major repairs. Do the bare minimum and dont care about the customers.

Woman at the service desk was extremely rude. From the moment you walk in, hostility fills the air. To work at a customer service position I would expect being friendly or even decently pleasant was a requirement.. unfortunately i guess it's not.

Quick service but I did get the impression that the older gentleman (Joe or John) working the service desk thinks women don’t know anything about cars so was frustrating when I asked him to check something and then had to explain three times why and that I have taken out and replaced engines so know a thing or two.

They want to put you in a car. When I changed my mind about the car I drove away in they helped me find another one. VERY HAPPY customer!

Bought a car from here about 2 months ago and now the car is having major problems. Live almost 4 hours away from the dealership but their only resolve to this issue is to bring the car back to their crappy shop. Mind you, the car was JUST serviced there last week!!! The service manager is rude. Even spoke to the GM of the dealership and he was rude as well. Crappy car, crappy staff, crappy dealership. Deserves ZERO stars

I got my oil changed and afterwards it started leaking and when I told them they blamed me instead of trying to help. I bought a car from here and it was a good experience but I'll never use the service department again.

Don't even ask. Just do your car shopping elsewhere... Enough said.... I would love more than anything to share grave detail, but until the legal powers at be and law enforcement completed their investigation. I shall remain silent. Again go do your shopping elsewhere. Just because you none or poor credit doesn't mean you don't have to settle for sub par. Go to myrtle beach Mitsubishi or Kia or Nissan, beck any other name dealer. You're better off even with poor credit.

Car City is just another high interest car lot taking advantage of people in need. I recently went to purchase a vehicle. At first they seem very pleasant and helpful and eventually came around with 1 vehicle that was no where need my price range. I said I would have to think about it. In which, they replied "take my time." 3 or 4 days later I decide to go with the vehicle which was a 2007 SUV for $359/mo. with $1000/down. However, I ask to see photos since the vehicle was on one of there other lots. They say they have no photos because the car is being checked in and was not available in their inventory yet. So I ask if they could have someone take photos and send them via email, to which they do. I therefore, put $1000/down and tell them I will take the vehicle. They let me use a rental until the vehicle is ready. The next 4 days goes by and I go back because the SUV is suppose to be on the lot and ready to go. When I get there I don't see the vehicle and they say there is a problem with the vehicle. I ask what kind of problem, they say, "The car is no longer available." They think it may have been sold or there is a mechanical problem with the vehicle. So, obviously, I'm already mad. They say these things happen when they buy cars from the auction. "They buy 20-30 cars online at auction "Sight unseen" and most are crap!" (There quote, not mine). They then tell me to come back the next day and they will have at least 4 or 5 options for me to choose from. When I get there the next day. We sit down and wait. While we are waiting, another salesperson gets on the phone to a client and lets them know he has a car for them. Yes, he does....the rental we just drove in with! Not, only does he try to sell the rental we are in before we have another car, but he bold-face lies to the client and tells them the car is available and it only has 64,000 miles, when in fact it has over 95,000! After waiting over 45 minutes after appointment time, we are told that the only other car they could find was a 2006 Hyundai Azera for $399/mo. w/only 64,000 miles. I flat out turn down the deal and ask for my $1000 deposit back. At that point they give me a problem and blame me for deciding on the vehicle "too late." I said, "how could I be too late if I placed a deposit on the vehicle and was shown photos of the vehicle?" Their reply. "The photos were actually NOT of the vehicle I was going to purchase." **** DO NOT PURCHASE ANY VEHICLES FROM CAR CITY **** **** THEY'RE SALES MOTO....."BAIT AND SWITCH" ****

2 weeks ago I went to car city and filled out a finance application. I waited nearly 4 hours and was finally told to call or come back Tuesday and they should have an answer for me. I did and was told I needed a co-signer. I got one and waited another three hours a week later to be told that I should call back the next day for a decision. I did just that and was once again told that Sabrina would call me back. She did not nor did any one else who said they would contact me. I guess they don't want my business or money. I should have left the first time I was there when I saw an employee, a gentleman with glasses that works in financing sneak in an entire case of beer under his shirt. Certainly not a professional atmosphere. Please avoid this particular car city branch. I'll give my money to another more respectable car dealership who will at least call when they say they will.
