Consider anyone else but HTC. I switched to spectrum and saved $100. They're just not worth the hassle of dealing with and if spectrum is the better alternative you know they suck.

2-27-23 we had to sign up with htc because how they got to be the only cable service in our development. they are not happy that we still use there boxes instead of streaming we are older people and are very used to the boxes i pay every month for them so they are not for free. being that said they have horrible remotes the buttons are so small and if you hit one that is wrong then you are in trouble they claim that it is you tv and will not send anybody out to repair the problem i had spectrum and they were a lot better then htc very happy i did not take the alarm system who knows if that works. i just called best buy to come and reset the tv htc would not help with that and to say it was there remote that screwed up the programing not the tv remote. stay away from htc if you can.

Our cable worked just fine until they changed to the new “HTC TV Max” app. Not only was the app down last night, but it’s also impossible to find on our smart tv. I shouldn’t have to buy a Fire Stick to view the services that I already pay for. It was a terrible idea that was done with terrible execution. I would not recommend unless something drastically changes.

Overall the people are trying. Both inside and in the field, they are trying. The platform for cable tv is outdated. And the internet throttles your connection speed to the point it doesn’t work. To go from 200mb to 26kps is like slamming on the brakes in a big rig tractor trailer. Happens multiple times a day. We’re not streaming tv on 4 TVs, or online gaming. Two TVs on regular cable channels or DVR and two phones on the internet. They put a second modem to just handle internet. This fixed to problem of the tv locking up, but still have slow internet at times.Oh the state lowered the fees, but my bill went up? $180 for mediocre cable tv and internet that slows to 5kps (KPS is dial up speed…)If only there were a choice. HTC is a monopoly in my development…UPDATE: HTC Support called me! Donald listened to my issue with internet speed, he made two setting changes (that only they can make).He knew exactly what is connected to my wireless. He went down the list of cameras, alarm, TVs, etc. I'm impressed by the fact they called, listened, and made a couple of changes. Donald was professional, patient and seemed very competent. He explained my option of HTC MAX, what is offers, it's limitations without being a salesmen.

Better than any other internet provider I've tried in this area You can talk to a person in person or on the phone without having to be on hold and transferred several times. Usually a quick fix if I experience any problems.

If you own a business, stay away from their "professional services", they will sell you a bunch of $% that you don't need and then you get the $$$$ every month. And you wonder what you are paying for. STAY AWAY!

Great download speed when the internet is working. Upload speed is very weak (capped at 20mb) and even if you upgrade your internet you only obtain better download speed so trying to livestream or do any task that deals with upload is usually terrible. Every month there are many days where the internet works for most of the day and then there’s a 4 hour window or so where it goes offline and turns back on constantly. I have had techs come out to troubleshoot this issue but they always say it’s working fine. If other options were available where I live I would definitely switch.

Horrible billing issues. Our home telephone was turned off because of a need to update a modem. Never got the letter. Since then I’ve been charged excessive amounts of money for reconnection fees. One agent tells me to call back today for credits to be applied after speaking to a manager. The new agent today telling me that I didn’t pay all of my December bill...and it’s February 12th. Seriously!!!! I feel like I’m being robbed after I had to pay $307 for one month service because of something out of my control.
