I cannot say enough good things about this salon! My son went in to cut his long hair short and he was so nervous. Lydia took the time to explain different options, how it could look on him, and listened to his concerns. The result is amazing!! He is beyond happy with it and just keeps saying “my hair looks so good” every time he looks in the mirror. At the end, she explained how to maintain and keep the style looking good and was patient with all his questions. It’s nerve-racking going into a new salon, but I would highly recommend Vivid! if you have a chance to go.

Jo is amazing! I came to her desperately in need of a repair haircut from another salon. She spent time asking about what I needed to make me happy with my hair. She was very determined to make me happy. I couldn't believe my hair when she was finished.....I was so happy! I have a new stylist!!!!

Hi. I want to give a shout out to Jameson Wasson! She went above & beyond to assist me with my needs! Friendly, expedient and aimed to please! Awesome in every way! The salon is light and vibe is a natural delight! My haircut is the way I asked her to cut it! 5 stars!! I think I found my new stylist!!

Went to get my hair cut into a mullet, I come home and notice that one side of the back is longer than the other side. Thankfully I live right down the street, I drive back to the salon and Kristen evens it out but now that I’ve had the haircut for a day I’m noticing everything that’s wrong with it. The sections of short hair on either side of my head are different shapes, and now because one side of the back of my head was cut short and had to get the other to match, I didn’t get to keep the length that I wanted. The top of my head has the longest hair and it all feels a little disproportionate. My first haircut here was great. I’m not sure what happened with this second one, but even after having to return once for corrections, it’s not right. I’m disappointed in the cut I paid $60 for. I’m embarrassed to leave the house without a hat until I find a new place to fix my hair, or just shave it again and start over. Either way, I don’t see myself returning to this salon at this time.

Lydia gave me the best haircut i have ever gotten in my life. They executed the cut flawlessly as you will see from attached photo. Also got my hairdone by another stylist at vivid and hair was great. Sadly i had tried another salon due to scheduling conflicts after and am miserable with my hair. Currently growing it out and learned my lesson. Im waiting for lydia!! Also love how welcoming and inclusive the salon is. Definitely a safe space. Do not waste your time at any other salon in the greater columbia area!!

Totally meant to make this review the day of my cut because, wow! Skylar was the BEST. They were so nice and personable and made me feel so welcome. She was really knowledgeable on the style i wanted and did an amazing job. They asked plenty of questions about exactly what i wanted and even offered input about how it would look best. i will definitely be coming back to see her, she was amazing!!Service: Haircut

1st timer here. 10 out of 10 totally recommend. The environment totally welcoming and easy to be in. I got color for the 1st time and I couldn't be happier. Jameson is very good with ethic hair. I have super curly thick hair and she handled it with a breeze!!!!!! I was there for 5hrs and never once felt as if I was being rushed or unwanted. I am happy I found this place.!!!!!!!
