Uptown Gifts is a great little gift shop in Five Points. They carry Nora Fleming and Happy Everything which make great gifts. It’s easy to pop in and shop, but you can also shop online and have shipped or pick up in store. I try to support
local shops as much as possible!

I just left Uptown and I am very dissatisfied with the service I received. I have purchased there before in the past but have NEVER received such dismissive customer service. I was not greeted or asked if I needed assistance nor thanked after my purchase. I am not sure if it is because I’m African American because Melissa and her coworker gave the Caucasians customers a friendly experience despite them not buying anything. If you are an African American please think twice before supporting Uptown.
