Myself along with family have shopped at Tootsie’s for the past 5 years, but will sadly no longer be customers due to their poor new ownership. I went in on Friday at 4:30pm and purchased a pair of shoes for my daughter who was not with me at the time, I asked the girl at the time of checkout that if they did not fit was I able to bring them back and she said yes as long as you return them unworn within 7 days. Unfortunately the shoes did not fit, I went back in (the next day, less than 24 hours after original purchase) on Saturday to return them believe I would be getting a refund or at-least exchange the shoes for another pair as I had my daughter with me. Once trying on 5 other pair of shoes that did n out fit properly and frankly weren’t the style or brand I would’ve preferred I said I’ll just do a refund - to my surprise the store (now under the new ownership) has a “strict store credit return only policy, no refunds despite any time frame”. This did not sit well with me and for knowing I did not ever want to conduct business there anymore, I then tried to find atleast 5 if not more pair of shoes for my daughter and they either didn’t have her size, didn’t have the color, or just were low in stock in general. I decided to then try to find a pair of shoes for my son, trying to get the sales attendant to find another 5+ pairs of shoes that were out of stock, not the brand, not the right size, she offered shoes that were complete opposite of what we wanted. All this to say, if you’re going to have such a shady return policy then the least you could do is to at-least have a decent supply available to customers - it’s clear the ownership is out to cheat customers out of their money and doesn’t care if the goods they paid for are appropriate for the customer because once they have your money it’s theirs. I left my name and number for the owner to call me to maybe see if the Greenville store had something in stock that could be shipped and I have yet to receive a phone call. In addition to this, your store credit is provided on receipt paper which can be easily lost (would not doubt if this is intentional). Absolute poor customer service, the previous owner allowed for money back returns and had sufficient stock. It’s unfortunate that people try to support a “small business” and it’s to a detriment, especially when Amazon and other large department stores have more products and a far more honest return policy.

Had to take my children to a doctors appointment to get his new foot braces, afterwards we went here to get my son some new shoes! Without any hesitation the lady got my son fitted for some new Billies and he was happy!! I will shop with them in the future!

Poor customer service. I have purchased shoes for years from this business. Their business hours posted say that they close at 5pm. I got to the establishment at 5 til, and they refused to service me. Said that they have to go to physical therapy. Mind you, it's after five on a Friday and physical therapy offices aren't even open at this time. So disappointed and won't be going back.

Brought my grandson for shoes. 2 younger ladies working, they were fairly accommodating to a restless 4 year old. He has a foot condition where 1 foot is a size larger than other. Previous owner used to give my daughter in law 1/2 off the second pair since he needs 2 totally different sizes on each foot. Was told new owners don’t do that….okay, I’ll accept that. Finally chose a style, paid for 2 pairs only to find out when I called the store that it’s a 7 day return policy for refund, 14 days for exchange. That’s a very limiting return policy that should be made known at time of purchase. And was told when I asked to speak to owner they “weren’t in that location”

We went to Tootsies yesterday to get a couple of pairs of shoes for my daughter. There was one employee in the store with another customer. She did not acknowledge us when we walked in and continued to only address the same customer. This customer asked many questions but didn’t end up buying more than 2 pairs of shoes total despite taking over 30 minutes. When the other customer left the salesclerk was very indifferent and unhelpful. We won’t be shopping there anymore despite shopping with them for more than 10 years now.

Tootsies is the ONLY place I will go to for children's shoes. The staff not only size perfectly but they actually take the time to watch how your child walks to help you pick the right kind of shoe. Everyone there is always so patient regardless how busy or fussy a child may be. The prices for their brands are identical if not slightly cheaper then other places. They carry only good quality shoes that will last. You definitely get what you pay for there.

A friend recommended Tootsies to us when our daughter began walking and needed her first pair of shoes. We haven't been anywhere else since! The staff at Tootsies does a great job of helping you find the right shoe, sizing your child's foot, and ensuring that it fits well. We love shopping local with Tootsies!

It was ok, at best. 1st time there. We've experienced much better customer service elsewhere, especially in a children's store. It felt like we were a nuisance, and they'd like us to just pick something so they could get it over with. They had a waiting list due to covid, and were aggravated people weren't showing up. We were there right when we were supposed to be, yet were still greeted and treated like an annoyance. Their vibe definitely upset out 18 mo daughter, and that's odd for her.Wouldn't go back.

This store is so great! I love being able to support a locally owned business and getting something that we always seem to need for little growing feet- shoes! The staff really take their time and size the children’s feet for a perfect fit. Our favorite shoes to buy at Tootsies are the crowd favorite- Natives. If you have little ones, you will not be disappointed in the service and interaction from Tootsies.

Cute little store with a wide variety of kids shoes! I went this morning to have my 1 year old, who recently started walking, fitted for shoes. The lady was very helpful in getting him fit and finding the perfect pair. She was also helpful in explaining what shoes to transition to as he gets older. Store was clean and precautions are being taken during Covid! Will definitely return as he grows!

Love this place. I am horrible at figuring out if my daughter's shoes fit her. They are the best at getting it right and helping me pick the best shoe for her.
