“Outstanding service. Got stranded at 8 pm. I’m from out of town . Made a call and they were very responsive. I was skeptical at first about paying a deposit, but it is legitimate and I understand why they do it. They were out within 30 mins. Outstanding service, very knowledgeable and top quality work. Nothing shady about them when they pull up in a company branded van. They had all the equipment to change a tire on a model s Tesla. I highly recommend them in the Columbia area.”

“First impressions are lasting impressions! Made a great impression!Tire Pressures Light came on. Unfortunately, indicator light does not let you know which tire has low pressure. Took car to Mavis on Garners Ferry Road. Staff was amazing. From the front desk (didn't get the kind gentleman's name) to the gentlemen who worked in the bay area. They looked at ALL of the tires when placed on the lift to see if there were leaks or anything, Thank God, no leaks, all tires needed air. This was done at no charge and took less than 15 minutes! Mavis has gained a new customer.”

“Mavis has been a life saver on more than one occasion. They are ethical and kind and efficient.A few years ago, our daughter’s car broke down on the side of the highway on Saturday night. She had it towed to Mavis since it was close to her apartment. She walked the next morning to talk to them. They did free diagnosis so she knew what to tell her dad. They never tried to take advantage of her.They were equally good when she needed a new tire after someone slashed it.Last night, we hit a bump which resulted in a flat tire. Knowing we couldn’t drive 4 hours on the spare, we stayed in Columbia and got an appointment first thing on Sunday!!! They replaced the tire and checked the car before sending us home in a safe vehicle.I would recommend these guys to anyone. Honesty is hard to find and they set the bar for knowing you can go in, have car checked or repaired, and come out knowing you were not taken advantage of!College parents can rest assured their students an go here and be treated well and fairly.”

“My first time here with my uncle. Mr Wayne and his coworker really work. These men know their stuff. I truly truly appreciate Mr Wayne doing a thorough check on all 4 wheels, shaving each rotor down, finding 1 rotor that was problematic until he shaved it down as well. My car is doing great. “I just had to give a huge shout out to Mike at Discount Tire on Garners Ferry I have an F350 Super Duty Dually , my tire pressure monitor went off telling me a had a few low tires in the back and being as it's extremely difficult for me to fill the inside back tires myself I opted to have it done by a professional, not because it needs a pro but because I'm a pansy when it comes to mechanical things. Now I've used Discount Tire shops for years across America, because of their great service so I pulled up the closest location on my GPS and drove straight there. Mike must have seen me pull in because he met me at the door, then directed me where to pull up. It was very cold that morning and windy, he sad I could keep the truck running so I could keep warm. It was difficult for even him to fill my inside back tires but he was so gracious, kind and helpful. I could see he was cold in his thin Discount Tire jacket and his hands were very cold because he kept rubbing them together. I'm sure it's difficult to work on tires with gloves on. Upon finishing I ask how much I owed him and he said it was free. It's pretty hard to get anything for free these days and especially when you're sacrificing your comforts and safety. (He made sure I had the truck in park before climbing under it, lol ) Thank you Mike for your service and your willingness to serve even in the blistery cold of winter. I will be back soon for some new tires.”
