I have been going to this hospital for over two years and my doctor has been informative, patient and kind. The nurses followup when they say, correct information given and very caring. They make you feel like you important and that you don't get lost in what's going on. You understand the information and you know how to do self care. My Nurse partitioner is outstanding. Very intelligent and interested in your care and sickness. They make you feel strong and tall. I am satisfied with my choice of being a patient of Dr. Williams. It's not always perfect but the team listens to you and explains the issue to where you understand. They care.

As someone else stated in a review prior, they aren't very compassionate to the patient, nor the family. They led us to believe there was a chance with fighting the cancer, so my father did chemo, they said they should do 6 sessions, and only ended up doing 4 because they said it was gone and didn't need the other 2. Well, a couple months later, all of a sudden it's back and all over, so they did chemo and radiation. Tried some other thing that they said would help get him out of pain, didn't work, so they said nothing more we can do, placed him on hospice, and less than 2 months, he passed away. Now, before I even got a chance to call and speak with someone in billing, but also, the office in general to let them know he had passed, they had already made a claim on his estate to get their money. On their website they state they "care" and have great people and social workers that are there for you and your family to help cope with diagnosis, treatment and anything else, but we never saw any of that. Never had anyone try and help him, being on a fixed income, figure out ways that could help him pay for this treatment they knew wouldn't work. And a month after he passed, they put a claim on his estate because they really only "care" about getting their money. Before I knew about the claim, I tried to call and speak with someone, got sent to billing and nobody answered, so I left a message. Not one person has tried to reach out to me about this matter, I suspect because they didn't want to talk to me since they knew they had that claim out there. I got a letter in the mail today stating they were making a claim, but I already knew about it, because my lawyer told me. It did take me a little time to start calling his sta offices and creditors because I'm trying to deal with the death of my father. But they do not care about you as a patient, or you as a family member of a patient with cancer. They see you as a $ and they will make sure they get their money, one way or another. They will give you treatments they know won't work. They will give you false hope instead of just saying, there's no hope to cure this cancer. If there was anywhere else for you to go to have treatments, I would say, go there.

So this review thus far is for Takia (I’m not sure of spelling) but she is so caring and I’m not sure how she remembers patients name out of all the thousands of patients. My aunt is a patient here and we are still hoping for the best but kindness with the staff is such a pleasure to have during this time. There are many more here that are so kind and makes this difficult process a little bit easier.

My name is Robert Hunnicutt, my wife received chemo for three months and is still receiving treatment every three weeks. I am a retired registered nurse. I have never seen a facility run so smoothly with this many people they go through there every day. The kindness of everyone is unparalleled.

I’m guessing they were short on staff not really sure, but I called in to make an appointment and someone else answered the phone who wasn’t able to make appointments. I basically told them that I was looking to reschedule my appointment for my genetic testing. They mentioned an appointment that I had missed and I assumed that that was in regards to the genetic testing but unfortunately I was wrong. so when the person called me back who schedules the appointment, they scheduled my appointment for a lab to test my iron and not my genetic testing as a result, me thinking that it is a very important appointment, I took time off from a new job that I’m not supposed to be taking any time off since I’m in training to go to this appointment only to find out theyre just testing my iron. I was highly upset, because not only are you affecting my money but you are now affecting my health and did not have an available appointment date for the day that I actually have off of work. I am not really sure exactly how this could have gotten construed other than incompetent people but this facility needs to do a lot better in regards to appointment scheduling and scheduling the correct appointment. I usually wouldn’t be this upset about this type of situation to write a bad review, but with my mom passing from cancer, her sister passing from cancer and my mom’s other sister surviving cancer not to mention my dad passing from cancer and my sister right now going through treatments for breast cancer, I am a likely candidate to have the genetic gene for cancer. So to know that I called specifically to make an appointment for my genetic testing only for someone to relay the message that it was in regards to a lab, It is a huge discouragement, and something of this nature should not happen to anyone. imagine if I was scheduling an appointment for a chemo treatment or something to that nature but instead, they book me an appointment for something completely not related. that could definitely be drastic and could be the difference between life or death.

I have never been more pleasantly surprised by a doctor's office before. I took my mom here to see a hematologist. We arrived even before they were supposed to open. Everyone was exceedingly kind from check in, to the appointment itself, to check out. She also had to get blood work. My mom is painfully difficult to get blood from and for the first time in years, I saw her only get stuck once. They were patient and super sweet. When leaving, two young men helped me load mom back in the car and even loaded her wheelchair for me. This place was incredibly busy, but I didn't see one less than stellar interaction. I see other reviews had negative things to say about specific doctors and I can't speak to that, but our experience was amazing.

PLEASE do yourself and your family a favor and DO NOT COME HERE!!! They are MONEY HUNGRY and "Dr." Hutchinson is very unknowledgeable. When asked a question, she simply doesn't know the answer and guesses. I don't know about you, but I don't want a doctor guessing, I like to know results. They send out incorrect bills with no description or valid dates of service. They also never contact you back and billing never answers the phone. Hutchinson was supposed to order blood tests and forgot to order all but one. I had no idea until I had to contact the office after seeing it on the carespace. They also do not message you back on there either. But they'll be sure to send you multiple, incorrect bills hoping the patient is ignorant enough to pay them. The only thing good about this office is the fish tanks and the piano. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE that cares about you!

I can't say enough good things about SCOA. They are like a well oiled machine, and every staff member I've come in contact with has been extremely friendly, compassionate and helpful. From the moment you walk I the door you are treated like a person, not number on a chart. The nurses in the treatment rooms, the phlebotomimists, the check in folks, all of them are amazing. My doctor, Dr Prophet and Nurse Practioner Katie are so kind and and so knowledgeable. Every question I had (and I had a LOT), every issue I encountered, they had swift responses. They have taken a very scary life experience and made it as comfortable as possible. I reached remission with their help and got to ring the bell. I will be forever grateful that everyone at SCOA made that journey as smooth as possible. 5 stars for SCOA!

They have a medical assistant by the name of Sherry L. who is putting immature and rude comments on facebook about a missing person online. Sickening. I’d reevaluate who you are hiring.

If you give them an emergency contact specify to them it is for emergency only. They will call your emergency contact looking for the patient scaring the living hell out of you looking for payment. Emergency contact is just for that emergency not over bills.
