I honestly don't know what these people are talking about? I became a customer of Etowah Bank in Woodstock, GA when I was moved there by my company in 1986. They were taken over by Regions, and I've been a customer for 37+ years! I've had nothing but good experiences when I've had to deal directly with the bank personnel. Recently my wife and I thought my identity had been stolen, and the young lady, Tanika Huff, who helped us was cordial, competent and profession. She closed our old acct. and opened a new one with new nos. and new checks. We were so grateful and relieved by her calm demeanor, knowing exactly what we needed to do, and we followed her advice. So far, we think we're OK. I LOVE Regions Bank!

Suddenly they put a hold on my acct. i called cust service and was advice to contact local bank. The next day i cant open my acct and when i contacted the local bank, they said it was the back office who did that. Worst service ever.

It is a place of racist and discriminatory people. I went to that place to pick up 100 dollars and simply because I was Latina and spoke Spanish they did not give it to me. The person who served me, a white man, asked me for my social security number before seeing my identification card, then I gave him my driver's license. drive and he demands another ID I gave him a military ID and my phone number and then he asked me what country I am from and I told him and he asked me for my residence card which I did not carry in my wallet because it is a document that must be kept safe and only take if necessary and still insisted that he could not give me the 100 dollars anywhere they require so much documentation to make a western union payment. It is not my problem that God allows that there are so many countries that speak different languages and that it is understood, I answered the questions in English, but he did hear that I spoke in Spanish with a friend.

I will be in the process of looking for another bank. Customer service is very Nasty because I was waiting in line and the bank teller over looked me as if I was invisible. If you don't want to be overlooked bank somewhere else!!!!!

Been banking with them since 2012 when I was a freshman in college. Any problem that showed up was dealt with swiftly and efficiently. Since graduating, they have helped me set up a credit card with a low limit to build credit and are now interested in assisting me set up a loan or mortgage should I decide to buy a house or car. Would recommend Regions to all.

The employees don't know their own policies. I went to cash a money order and the banker told me they don't cash money orders if you don't have an account, despite the website saying that they DO cash money orders without an account. I tried to tell the employee this and she told me I was wrong, and then sent me on a wild goose chase to another location that ALSO didn't cash my money order. When I called this location to let the supervising manager know that their employees don't know their own policies, he was rude and cut me off and then hung up on me, despite confirming that I was right and his employee was wrong.
