THIS WAS THE WORST PLACE I’VE EVER EXPERIENCED TRAVELING OVERNIGHT!!
?????? I know this is long but I’d hate for anyone to have their trip ruined by choosing to stay here. We were here to attend my son’s graduation from Boot Camp at Fort Jackson which is one of the reasons we chose this location due to it being so close to the base. We arrived very late (like 1:45am) due to very long drive so we just wanted to check in & go to bed. We checked in, our room was on the 1st floor, immediately upon entering the room had a very bad smell, extremely noticeable, like a chemical smell, the bathroom was filthy, hair in tub & on the floor, bathroom door was so warped wouldn’t even close all the way, so we went right back to try to get a different room & was told we’d have to check in the morning after the manager gets in. So we had to be at Fort Jackson at 5am the next morning so had no choice, we just left most of our stuff in the car & just went right to sleep & would have to deal with this when we came back from family day that evening. So upon return we went to the desk & explained our arrival the night before & requested a clean room & cannot smell like last room or we will not be staying. The lady at the desk, had to contact her manager before we were able to get a different room. At first look around this room seemed much cleaner & did not have that chemical smell like the other room but the comforter noticeably dirty so I had to get a clean one but we ended up moving rooms. We had to be at Fort Jackson again at 5 AM the following day, so we get up at 4am. So I’m half asleep sitting on the edge of the bed at 4 am & I see this giant roach run across the floor so I yelled jumped up to grab a shoe to try to kill it & ended up slipping & fell it got away under the bed. Then my mom is standing there trying to finish getting ready in the mirror & screams I see another giant roach run up the wall next to her & I killed that one took picture which will be in the pics. So obviously we packed up & definitely not staying here one more night. Upon pushing mattress aside it was disgusting under the beds they are clearly not cleaned there was garbage, crumbs from food ect. This was the only part of our trip that I’d change is staying here, so if you’re going to graduation at Fort Jackson, or on the area & need a place to stay I definitely DO NOT ever recommend staying at this place!!! FYI also we tried to get a refund for at least one night management was unresponsive!!
Noteworthy details: Also they had a pool advertised as available, it was in the 80’s during this time & the pool was covered up & closed not able to use at all!

Room looked like it was not cleaned, floor in the bathroom looked dirty/stained really bad. There was an annoying loud noise in the bathroom( I complained), I was told this was normal to prevent mold. Falguni Dave was the person at the checkin counter upon arrival, she was horrible, her attitude was the worse. We came in from out of town for our daughters army boot camp graduation, asked for directions to a place to eat and her response was “I Don’t know, I’m new here” in a tone that we were made to feel like crap. I considered going to another hotel but unfortunately everything was booked and absolutely nothing else was available. We had 5 nights prepaid so we were stuck, thank God for google. Oh and there was no toilet paper on one of the holders. We will never stay here again.

This hotel was nasty. The towels were stained and dingy gray. The only thing going for this place is they offer smoking rooms. Housekeeping definitely missed some things with trash behind the bed and the packets of sugar and creamer for the coffee maker were busted open.

We needed a home-base for a few days during Fort Jackson family day and graduation. The breakfast was really filling and tasty. The woman who runs the breakfast is so sweet and helpful. She keeps it very clean and well-supplied. I asked for clean towels everyday and they were kind. The rooms were nice and the microwave and fridge were very helpful. Next to food places, gas stations, etc. staff were working hard and taking good care of the rooms.

We were moving and needed a place to stay. Everything was great here, clean room, very safe and great location its right across the street from a gas station, a waffle house, and texas road house.
Rooms: Very clean
Safety: Very safe
Food and drinks: Close to restaurants

Awful hotel…. Only hotel left in Columbia so booked. When arriving, 10 semi-trucks were parked in the parking lot. The room that we were given was not clean with stains on the bed. A man was pacing outside the room along with a women in an office chair breast feeding outside the room. Felt so unsafe we did not feel comfortable staying overnight. Explained this to the receptionist and said he stated he would not give us a refund. After asking for his name he dismissed us and refused to answer. If you want to stay in a dirty, unsafe hotel this is the place to stay!

I like to sleep peacefully, it's a quiet place. Bad neighborhood but the people are beautiful, it's just that the city doesn't clean up the public areas. I guess the people there are not first-class citizens.

I'll keep this short the hotel messed up and didn't inform me to move my car(90,000). They let a concrete chipper run 2 inches from my car and it chipped my paint and windshield in multiple places. Rather than do the right thing they tried to put blame on the concrete company which is just about as worthless as they are. Concrete company says they have a contract that states hotel is responsible for informing the guest. The hotel instead decides to kick me out because they dropped the ball in informing to move my car. They had no problem the day before to tell me so I parked all the way at the front thinking I'd be OK instead they ran a chipper and messed up my car. I'm a disabled combat veteran when I call Delta Contracting Inc they said I should've parked at McDonald's a mile away and walked. The hotel staff treats every guest like they're a peasant ant and they can do whatever they want and have no recourse. If you value your possessions and most of all your dignity you'll stay far away from this place and the front desk people! The property isn't bad and the housekeepers were nice but the two managers are so disrespectful to not just me but all Guests that it outways anything nice about the place. Nowadays you don't find many people that do the right thing and both companies above should be ashamed in how they handled the whole thing especially the hotel managers. Spend your money somewhere that appreciates you as a customer and doesn't see you as disposable.
Added- Dear Hotel Manager,
If your cared three slightest amount you would've offered to fix my windshield rather than kick me off the property for voicing my concerns! I drove 100 feet off your property and then noticed all the chips in my windshield turned around and came back in less than 30 seconds and your response was too say nothing you could do because I had left the property! It's sad that you treat the people that pay your bills in this manner and hopefully one day people will realize there's more choices out there and they don't have to be treated like a second class citizen by you.

Hi, yes I was here about a month ago and a tragic incident happened to me where that me and my friend were victims of somebody trying to rob the front desk. People did not care enough to bring somebody or have somebody come and see what was going on the proof on the camera They violated my safety by looking to see if I was telling the truth I could’ve been dead then when housekeeping I have proof that they didn’t care because they so-called say that they’re looking at the cameras, but they wasn’t that like to stay here find somewhere else to because they’re not coming to care about your safety. They don’t care about how their rooms look when you get a room here, push the bed you will see all the trash. All they want is money

I recently stayed at this Quality Inn, and despite being told that the room was cleaned, it was anything but. The bathroom drain was clogged and smelled like dog water, filling up like a jacuzzi every time I used it. The bed was unmade , the sheets were stained, and the bathroom towels were dirty. The towels were never replaced and just folded up like new, and on top of that the curtains had some black, tar like substance smeared on them.
The atmosphere at night was even worse. Loud music played all night, the TV didn't work, and I heard gunshots
nearby. Other guest talked loudly throught the night, and someone attempted to break into my room. I didn't feel safe or comfortable.
I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Late check in. Stayed for two nights. Room was clean, staff was friendly and had many places nearby for food. If I'm ever back in the area I would definitely stay here again!
