Outstanding customer service. Thank you John and Craig for all your hard work on this. Recommending Palmetto Hot Tubs to all my friends. My wife absolutely loves the saltwater and the upkeep is next to nothing.

If I could give this zero stars I would. Salesman John was not a very nice person on the phone as I inquired about purchasing not one, but two new hot tubs. I asked a lot of questions to make intelligent, informed decisions, but it seems I must have overwhelmed him. There was more than one person on my end helping to ask those questions, and we were both blown away by his rude remarks to me. Oh well, he just lost 2 sales. Big price to pay for an obnoxious attitude.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Palmetto Hot Tubs, and I must say, it was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish!First and foremost, I want to express my sincere gratitude to John, the incredibly knowledgeable and friendly salesman who guided me through the entire process. He patiently listened to my requirements and preferences, providing expert advice tailored to my needs. His exceptional understanding of the products, particularly the saltwater system, left me feeling confident in my decision.Since bringing it home, my family and I have been enjoying it almost DAILY. The combination of a hot tub and a swim spa is simply genius. The swim current is powerful yet adjustable, allowing me to customize my workout routine to perfection. The Captain’s chairs are a favorite amongst my husband and kids. Husband uses it mostly for relaxation but our oldest is a junior in high school and he soaks twice a day for the massage/heat factor, even in the summer before football practice!! Heat/hydrotherapy has changed my families lives!One of the most remarkable aspects of the SaltWater is the low upkeep it requires. I wish our in ground pool used the same system!!! The saltwater provides a gentle and soothing environment, while also saving me a significant amount of time and effort. There wasn’t even much to setting up the tub, but I still managed to have a question(I tend to overthink things) and John literally had an answer for anything I was unsure about!The entire team at Palmetto Hot Tubs deserves applause for their exceptional customer service. They guided me through the installation process effortlessly, ensuring that everything was set up perfectly. Their attentiveness and willingness to go above and beyond truly sets them apart from the rest. I really cannot get over their turn around times. I’ve had to have service before, we’ve had our Swimspa for over 2 years now, and they fixed the issue in less than 48 hours!I wholeheartedly recommend Palmetto Hot Tubs to anyone. Their wide selection of high-quality products, combined with the expertise of their salespeople like John, make them a true gem in the industry. It also makes me feel good to support small business that’s DONE RIGHT!

Updates... I did not want salt as my Jacuzzi brand tub is not salt and is great. This tub is dirty with no use in a short time so I then inquired about salt upgrades. Also about half my reviews are 5 star. Lies many lies.They refuse to warranty and the tub now and threaten to sue. Be very careful.***UPDATE***The owner of Palmetto Hottubs just sent me this email because I left a fair and 100 percent accurate review.HERE IT IS..."Eric,Just read the Facebook comment and with the Google post. At this point do not contact are business we will be turning this over to are attorney Chris XXXXX. He will be filing suit against you and will name everyone you named online and emails."What??? So over $10,000 invested, treated horribly, left reviews, and now cannot get tub warrantied or talk to this company anymore because of truthful review. Oh and now threatened with a lawsuit??? Of course prior to any reviews being left I was threatened my warranty would be void for inaccurate reasons.I have never experienced worse customer service in my life. I bought a brand new Hot Tub from Palmetto Hot Tubs a couple of months back. The lighting system is malfunctioning as is the main control panel as it keeps shorting on and off. I contacted Wellis about also upgrading my tub to use salt and Wellis themselves directed me to the product they use for that tub. Wellis also sent me a pdf for a Wellis owners manual showing how the Gecko Generator is designed to work and is directly plug in play with my Wellis Monte Rosa tub. I also attached a copy of this manual from Wellis to Palmetto Hot Tubs in an email to Palmetto hottubs. I am attaching the rude unacceptable response from Palmetto Hot Tubs and now they are also ignoring my emails. He did express in no uncertain terms that this conversation is over. Unbelievable!!! Then businesses wonder why they are rated so poorly and eventually become irrelevant. Just look at all the responses to negative reviews. They almost all attack or blame the customer even goes as far as telling customers they are not smart enough. A couple of managements responses are "not our customer has to be our competitors" lol that is ludicrust. How could they possibly know this??? Is a customer defined only as someone who bought a product? No!!! but again horrible thought process here. Check out them telling me conversation over !!! I will also update and let everyone know if they continue to ignore me or fix my lighting and control panel. When they came the first time they brought the wrong lighting and brought a control panel that had a bad LED or LCD display.Palmetto hot tubs response...Wellis does not make a saltwater system. Gecko makes a saltwater system but Wellis systems are not built for salt. Any changes to hot tub voids the warranty. I talked to the owner of Wellis many times about this. 2024 might be able to get saltwater added.This conversation is over we are the dealer and it is not a option from Wellis.I cannot believe a company in todays environment would treat customers this way. I copy and pasted their email so they could not say the customer is lying and not very smart.Update... i contacted Wellis and they said yes the salt system is Gecko but so is Wellis intouch system etc... they platform with Gecko *** now Palmetto Hotbtubs is saying the touchpad bench tests good so they are putting blame on the Electrician. Anyone with any basic sense of electric knows if the keypad shuts down but the jets stay on, the stereo still plays, and the inside lights are on that the issue 100 percent cannot be 220 volts going to the tub. No 220v goes to tub and voltage is reduced and then low voltage is sent to key pad. If tub still has power, jets, lights, and stereo it is not the 220v hookup. They made me provide a copy of my electricians license and invoice that he did the work or my warranty would be voided. I did indeed provide them this information. They then said his license was not valid. I then proved that to be untrue as again they were going to void my warranty.

We had a good shopping experience so we were very happy with our purchase at the time. Tech support with getting the hotub up and running was a bit rocky, especially being first time hotub owners. Two years later and we're starting to have problems despite being on top of all maintenance protocols weekly and monthly. The customer and tech support is awful. Can't get people to return call for weeks. Anything that needs repair is magically not under warranty. We love our hotub, just wish we would have bought it somewhere else with better communication and support. Please beware of the 5 yr warranty claims.

We bought a hot tub last year with this company and will never do business with them again. Our hot tub has been tripping the breaker but we didn't know why. I went to drain the hot tub to get ready for the summer and it was still was doing the same thing. I called Palmetto and I was speaking to the owner telling him what happened and I needed them to come out and troubleshoot. Immediately I was told that we burned the hot tub up without sending anyone out to troubleshoot and he was very rude and disrespectful telling me that Im lying and we burned the whole hit tub up. Our hot tub is still under warranty.I been an electrical, aviation and auto mechanic for over twenty years and you never diagnose and issue without coming out and troubleshoot the issue.I then called CalSpa Corporate and they connected me with a great guy name Dusty from AllSpa who came out and troubleshoot our Hotub. After troubleshooting the diagnosis was the hot tub element was bad. He replaced the hot tub element and our hot tub is up and running again. We will never do business nor will we recommend this company to anyone else.Your response shows unprofessionalism. Calspa also called All Spa who is in their directory and the issue was covered under warranty and Its all documented with an reimbursement on the way. They did not call you because of your rudeness and I explained to them that I refused to work with this company again. They understand customer service and the young lady was nice and very helpful that's why they did not reach out. Also to state that our hot tub is still under warranty. Sense is not common when you try to diagnose over the phone. Have a great day!!!!
