Being in the military 23 years this was the worse company that was given to me by the transportation office! I don’t know how this company is still open. They sub contract the movers to a woman who brings her teenager kids to pack and then leave after 2 hours in due to drug issues (yes drugs)! I’ve called and called it took over 6 months to even file the claim and because it was raining after they moved me they put all my items in the garage (full of boxes) bed weren’t put together no dresser mirrors couldn’t find the parts box! This company doesn’t answer the phone and gives excuses for everything! My grandfather worked for Mayflower for over 50years and when they arrived in that truck I was excited but Nilson is not Mayflower! I’ve notified the army transportation office not to use them and will continue to follow up on my complaint!

Half our experience was fine but when they packed our kitchen up we told them to not pack two cupboards and they did. One those cupboards had our dog's prescription food so we had to go through boxes to find.

Wow! This was my Wife’s and I first big move using a moving company, and Angie, Ty, and Kayla exceeded every expectation we had. Ty talked me through every part of the move, showed me the truck, and told me exactly how the unpackers should handle our stuff. Kayla took me through all the paperwork and ensured every single item we had was accounted for and tagged with a corresponding number so we can track it all once we get to our unpacking portion. Angie worked incredibly fast and took extra care of every plate and cup in the kitchen to ensure every item was individually wrapped and secured before packing it. All three of these incredible movers never made assumptions about items and asked along the way if we wanted certain things packed… thanks again Ty, Angie, and Kayla- y’all were amazing!

Nearly a year ago we received our military household goods shipment. Several items were broken, and our property was damaged on delivery. After all this time, we still can't get Nilson to follow up on the claim. With 20+ years of moving around I can say that we have never experienced this much difficulty filing a claim. Communication is sparse, and when there is communication it's always the same thing, "we're working on it."

My husband and I hired Mayflower when we lived in North Myrtle Beach. This was in October of 2021. Out things were to be stored for 6 months. Then moved into our home in Elizabethton Tennessee .We purchased the highest level of insurance that Mayflower offered through Unigroup one of their companies. It was for damages as well as replacement .After 6 months of storage in April of 2022 a three-person team picked up our items and used an 18-wheeler truck despite the fact that they knew it would not be able to get into our driveway .What they did do is they coordinated a U-Haul. Parked their truck at the bottom of our road and then shuttled our 18-wheeler full of things up to our house.This G-Maps website seems to disallow a detailed review... I think it was too long. Suffice to say since July 2022 we are still waiting (It is now December 2022) for an appropriate settlement that is at the level of coverage we purchase from UniGroup.They have delayed responses, They have been unaware that one agent was actually working on the case... And they have asked us to accept settlements like replacing a grill at 50% of its features size and burners.Feel free to get in touch with me if you want the details.

ONLY 6pallets from 7:30am till11: 30. Their own truck backin one by one and IGNORED any truck waiting.The lady in the office was super rude and arrogant.After that my dispatch called her.she said ANYWHERE you can put this load to I don't care!!!She said SHE'S Melinda and hung upTerrible experience.

So we received our HHGs few weeks ago (military overseas) and we are impressed how well they packed all our stuff specially our smart tv, tempur pedic mattress and our motorcycle. Mattress and motorcycle were crated offsite but it all made in one piece upon delivery. No missing or broken items so far as we are still unboxing. The four packers who came on last week of July packed and crated our stuff in two days. They were very professional, fast, efficient and respectful of our property. With all these horror stories that I've read regarding horrible moving experience, we are grateful that we were assigned with the good ones! Highly recommended them!

The movers damaged my doors and floors moving the larger items around. If you value your home and/or home goods, I WOULD use another service. A two star rating is probably reaching, but they did get my stuff packed.

I am telling you, if you value your household possession do not use this company. They will trash your stuff and then just tell you to file an insurance claim. They will ignore all instructions regarding packing items and do whatever they feel like. They do not care about your items or your time. Completely worthless - do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for moving services.

I should clarify my previous 1 star review. Nilson movers were direct cause of thousands of dollars of damages to our personal property. The owner, Amy Nilson, promised us we would be fully covered and assured we would be taken care of until she decided she no longer wanted to honor her promises. She used her faith to foster our trust before slashing it. They also forgot a large portion of our move and it took 6 weeks to arrive to us. The dishonesty and disregard for one's belongings are stark. And they continue to disrespect our time and valuables- just look at their reaction comments.

This company was contracted to move our household good shipment from Fort Bragg, NC, to Fort Bliss, TX. They confirmed delivery for a specific day and then no showed. Then, while waiting for them the next day, we find out that they actually put our entire household goods shipment into temporary storage instead of delivering it and now we have to wait 3 to 4 weeks to have it delivered. The driver never attempted to deliver on the confirmed date or even call us before putting the shipment into temporary storage.

This is the best company for Moving that I have ever worked with. All the workers were very responsible and careful. The administration staff worked really well with us. They showed up on time and worked really hard. I would definately use them again. Thanks, Dave
