The staff member working at the bookstore was friendly and helpful without being intrusive. I live in North Carolina, so I don't have the opportunity to visit often, but I always stop in when I am visiting the Distribution Center or the Temple. The music and ambiance make browsing a pleasure.

This place has gone out of business. A new bookstore has replaced it.

This is the worst authorized retailer for a Deseret Bookstore I’ve ever had the misfortune of encountering. Hopefully the new owners won’t treat customers like we’re an imposition. If it weren’t for the fact that this location is transferring ownership, I’d say Deseret Bookstore should shut this location down completely for a total lack of customer service, or even just good ole fashioned Christian decency! I would literally give 0 stars if I could! The owner was incredibly rude and short tempered. How dare we stop by an LDS bookstore 45 minutes out of our way and expect some actual decent level of customer service… my bad. Hopefully this lady does everyone a favor retires soon! She obviously doesn’t need to be working with the public anymore! Again, horrible store, would never recommend!Edit: And now this reply?! It isn’t that you did or did not have what I needed. It’s the fact that your attitude was rude and dismissive.Again, it was your dismissive attitude that I took exception to. It wasn’t the stock or lack thereof. It was your attitude of us even being there being an inconvenience for you. I asked about having the hymn book embossed and you got short with me and snapped “I only emboss scriptures”. It was rude and belittling. Hopefully you enjoy your retirement. We won’t be back at that location. Ever. We’ll drive to Nashville instead, or order online.

What a worthless hole in the wall business. They have nothing in here worth your time. I wanted to have a hymn book embossed and they refused to do so, even though it's a service they advertise as providing. What a waste of time- I spent 45 minutes driving out of my way to come here to have THIS experience?! What a disappointment. I will be reporting this to their parent company Deseret Bookstore out of Salt Lake City.

Great content, but be careful when buying during the final clearance period. Clarify the final price of each item at the register or you might find yourself getting home finding things other than advertised. Pricing and price tags aren't as clear and obvious as the sales signage and even price tags state. They offered to refund the book, but that's an hour trip...longer for others. Check your receipts.

Nephi's is next to the Temple and is my place for Church publications in the Carolinas. It is convenient and the staff is very helpful. You also can order online from there!
