I am usually not sure about mattress shopping.Al was super patient always kind and truly wanted me to be happy with my purchase. Finally settled on a Temperpedic.Update:After sleeping on the mattress a few times I realized it did not cool and it was hard and caused pain on pressure points. This was my second temperpedic exchange at a total cost of over $6,000.00 dollars.( I requested the floor model because it seemed a little less firm then the new one.... Mistake.) I did not get a discount. I ended up paying the same price as a new one when I added up the cost in exchanges). I was refused another exchange for a new temperpedic because their store policy only allows one exchange. My advice to anyone planning on buying a Temperpedic mattress, buy it Directly from Temperpedic. They stand behind their return customer satisfaction policy. Or will return your money .You DO NOT get a cash refund of any kind from Michaelis Mattress at any point. You get a store credit and your exchange is limited.I realized this after I made my first mattress purchase even though I was told I could exchange if I was not happy.I called the owner and tried to explain how uncomfortable the mattress was and requested a last time exchange, especially since I had spent OVER $6,000.00 dollars in his store for a mattress!He told me he was sorry but he was losing money and would not exchange anymore.I appreciated what they had done thus far, but felt they could have exchanged one final time.... especially considering the money I had invested. (I even suggested he put final sale on the receipt)Maybe he can personally afford to throw six grand out the window.... I cannot.I am now stuck with a very expensive uncomfortable mattress that doesn't cool (as advertised) for my 95 year old mother to sleep on.Thanks for your Empathy Mr. Green.

We purchased some items from the Sparkleberry location, and the service was outstanding. We spoke with Al Scott over the phone about what we were looking to purchase, and he had everything written up and ordered right away. My family highly recommends Michaelis Mattress to anyone looking for quality furnishings, personalized service, and transparency when it comes to delivery. You can't go wrong with shopping small and local. I am sorry I only gave 5 stars since Google doesn't let you leave 10.

We are supporting local businesses now more than ever; wish I would’ve known and understood to do so before the p-demic but it’s okay. The business and experience itself was exceptional, non-commercial and no pressure. You leisurely walk in, explore, no one is over your neck unless you indicate you have questions. We’re satisfied with our purchases as well!

This was my second stop for mattress shopping and so glad it was my last! Rick was very attentive and took the time to walk the floor with me while I tried out different mattresses. Plus the specials they have right now are amazing!

Had a wonderful experience. The salesmen were extremely nice. They did not place a lot of pressure on me like most salesmen. They were very patient and polite! The prices were not extreme and I was able to get this wonderful mattress within hours of my purchase! Even the delivery guys were very pleasant!! I will definitely consider shopping with them again. Last year, I went to this Michaelis Mattress to test out the Nectar Mattress they have in their showroom....I was fully intending on buying it online if it was good. I ended up buying it from Michaelis. Rick Skeels showed me the Nectar Mattress and gave me a run down on all the features. He was awesomely helpful and answered every question I had in great detail. He also didn't try and sell me on something else I wasn't interested in. I loved the bed! Rick explained that they would honor the same discounts that Nectar had online. They also provided the pick up of the old one and setup for the new one for a fraction of the price Nectar would have charged for it. They scheduled a time to set it up and when they came by they were in and out in under 30 minutes. Note: I got the Nectar after reading reviews about people with bad backs and not being able to sleep throughout the night...which was what I HAD. Now, when I sleep I'm knocked out - if you do get one, give it like 2 hours of not sitting on it or touching it to make sure it properly rises. The pillows came with the Nectar Mattress as well!
