Ok, this will appear to be a mixed review, and it sort of will be. Stay with me.... So I scheduled an appointment to get my makeup done for Saturday at 5pm, as I had an event to be at later that evening. I arrived at 4:48, and the lone makeup artist informed me that she was there alone, that the other artist left and went to lunch about 20 minutes ago!!! Wait, what?!? She's at lunch???? Oh, and her lunch in an hour.....sooooo???? The artist kept telling me she didn't know what to do, as she was working on her 4:30 appointment. Fuming, I try not to take my anger out on her, so I walk off. I walked by the other makeup counters, but I knew what I wanted. So I stopped by another counter and asked a lady could she do my makeup, she was hesitant with her response, but was willing to help until I said lashes. She told me that no other counter is allowed to do lashes but MAC. I proceed to tell her what happened and she walked from her counter, came to the MAC counter, and called the artist. Yup, from the other counter! Why didn't the other artist do that you ask?? I asked myself the same thing. Fast forward to 5:12, when she finally walked back in and starts right in on me...asking what I wanted and blah blah blah...no apology for being late or leaving or nothing! She smelled like cigarettes.....when you are working with the public in such close quarters, you should probably go to the bathroom and wash your hands and such...cause sanitizer doesn't hide the smell. Now, on to the face, she worked her magic and I loved the look. She beat my face to the God's. She was super sweet and did an awesome job. I received compliments the whole night. You have to buy $60 In products for getting your makeup done, which isn't bad, and much better than most mua around. In closing, I will come back to get my makeup done again here but will look for another artist.
