Checked in late after a long day of travel with our two small children — showered and went to bed. The next morning, we found a condom near the AC unit by the window. The front desk was less than helpful and didn’t seem concerned. They had a less than sincere apology, mentioned bringing it up to housekeeping, and later giggled with co-workers.When I asked for a higher-up’s number, she pointed to a stack of cards before mentioning we booked through a third party. Regardless of how we booked, the same concerns should have been shared. It’s not acceptable and absolutely disgusting.

Greedy price gouging. Due to hurricane weather and a ball game they changed $123 rooms to $283! We won’t forget this in our future travels. A myopic business model.

Nice room. The location is fine. Whoever thought putting hard laminate floors in hotel rooms was a good idea is dumb. I would not recommend staying at this hotel unless you are on the 3rd flr because you will here everytime someone moves above you. Stayed at 2 different holiday inn expresses this week. Both nice rooms, good beds, both horrible experiences.

We showed up after reserving a week in advance. They claimed we cancelled our reservation, which we did not. There was no explanation. No way to communicate to a supervisor. I sent an email and never received a response. Person at the desk had no interest in helping my family. Place was booked. This is privately owned, and the owner owns the hotel next door also. Not a reliable stop!

The front counter staff were so friendly and helpful, the room was extremely nice and clean.
They have both regular outlets and also usb outlet plugs.
They have a really nice breakfast/dining area as well with a fairly good selection for breakfast.
They have a Circle K you can walk to right next to the parking lot if you need snacks or other last minute items and necessities.
Rooms: The room was clean, cozy and in great condition. The bathroom is bigger and bright.

We stayed at this hotel for a track meet June 27-28, 2024. The location was great because we were only a few minutes from the meet. However, talking to the front desk made communication difficult.
A few hours after checking out, my 6yo noticed he left his stuffed bear, so I called the hotel. The front desk, a guy, told me it was not left in lost and found but because the room was now occupied, I could call back after check out to see if it was found. I stated my 6yo said it was behind the chair in the corner, and if they could leave a note for the housekeeper to check again when the current guests check out. I called back an hour or so after check out to ask about the bear and if the housekeeper was able to find it. The lady at the front desk, with an attitude, told me the housekeeper looked and there was no bear. She stated they cleaned every part of the room and it was not there. Later that evening we were passing by the hotel on our way home and my husband decided to stop and ask in person about the bear, this time it was a guy at the front desk. Since the room was clear with no guest, he escorted my husband to the room where he found my sons bear behind the chair in the same place we asked them to look.
Not only does the housekeeper(s) not clean the entire room, as stated by the young lady I spoke with, they couldn't even take 2 seconds to look for something left behind. Understandably, they could not do it when the room was occupied, but could have once the room was cleared and "cleaned".

The location is off the highway with no road noise, hotel was pristine. Very clean room and the ac is Very quiet. The staff is what made this enjoyable: from the front desk staff to the breakfast area and cleaning staff....just awesome. Hidden HI GEM.

Very clean room and very nice staff. The breakfast was great! The hot water for the shower acted like it had a timer. Hurry up in the shower before water turns cold.

Rooms have been updated. No carpet in room. The noise from floor above was so loud. At less carpet would have help with noise from floors above.
Very nice now.

This place was incredible. It's not too far off from Fort jackson.Waffle House and McDonald's in next lot so that was convenient. Breakfast is as advertised. Rooms were clean, ac ?
