The area has everything you need at your fingertips. The hotel staff was friendly the room was spacious and well equipped. Ot was not super noisy though there were neighbors to the left and right of us. Supermarket, fast food restaurants sit down restaurants and Walmart within walking distance.

one thing this job has taught me is no matter how low or well kept your grass is that snake gonna find its way in it. You can chop off its tail as long as it has a its head it will move forward. Every rule is always meant to be broken no matter who you are. You lay down with dogs,, you wake up with fleas (management) literally. Change your own sheets when you pillow talk with them because they will leave a bad STAIN.

We drove from Florida and just wanted to sleep. When we got here, it looked like there were two others ahead of us but it turns out they were male friends of the receptionist. Instead of moving out of the way so we can check in, the others stood in the way and we were "dealt" with as if we were interrupting something. The next morning, housekeeping knocked on the door multiple times to see if the room was empty. We were nice the first time we had to get up ( at 9 am) and explain what check out time means but the second time we answered the door, the maid was argumentative and obnoxious. She said a lot of strange things you typically dont hear from employees at a hotel . I'm confused as to why she's the one who's angry when the waste of money came out of my pocket. Either way, there's no way I'm paying money to come back again ✌? I will say that Anna from the front desk was professional and tried to make everything better and the goofball who came to my door acting like a gangster could take a few lessons from her.

I unfortunately have to rate 1 star to a terrifying experience i had here. Please take this as a cautionary tale if you have children. We checked into the hotel Thursday evening and within 5 minutes of entering the room, I notice several hairs in the corner of the bathroom... and then I walked out my 1.5 year old was HOLDING A PILL HE FOUND ON THE FLOOR. Housekeeping LEFT A PILL ON THE FLOOR!!! Had I not been an observant parent, who knows how this could have ended. UNBELIEVABLE. I immediately tried to phone the front desk but the phone wasn't even working (yes, it was plugged in). So I grab my child and run downstairs to alert the staff. They were understanding, but I still can't justify what happened with giving them a better rating. I've never been so freaked out in my lifeThey said they would comp us 40% but didn't even end up doing that...Please, if you have children, heed this review. Bring lysol wipes and check every nook and cranny. Or better yet get a different hotel. It's not okay what happened and could have cost my baby his life. I will be contacting headquarters tomorrow.Safety: Random pill found on floor- baby picked it up. Housekeeping not up to par.

Facility: 4 starsHospitality: 3 starsHousekeeping: 2 starsBreakfast: 2.5 starsWe stayed for 2 nights. The facility was nice. Big bedroom, semisuit type, with a separate area for coffee, fridge, and a small sink. The seating sofa and bed area are separated by a nice large desk. Large bathroom changing area. Very clean.Mr. Alex, I think, who checked us in on 1/15 evening, was professional, cordial, and helpful. Others could learn from him. The rest of the staff could use customer service training, after all, they are in the “Hospitality” business - be polite, kind, and courteous with clients, we pay for the bedroom and service. Before going hiking at Congaree National Park, at 9 am, I asked to have our room cleaned. Was not accomplished. I called the front desk, with no housekeeping number on the phone, to get us a few more towels, when my husband was in the shower, not receive them. I had to ask again on my way out to dinner.Breakfast was okay, eggs were reconstituted, it would be nice to get fresh eggs.

I won't stay here again. The first morning I realized there was no shampoo in the dispenser. I asked it front desk for them to fill it but housekeeping never filled the shampoo dispenser. Also the telephone in the room does not work so you can't call the front desk. And when you dial the number on your cell phone, no one answers the local phone at the hotel. So you have to walk to the front desk for service.

Very clean and convenient to get to Fort Jackson. About a 10 minute drive to the base gate. Nice breakfast and the staff was great. Only negative is the rooo.s don't have dressers but plenty of space on counters. Thanks.Food & drinks: Panera, McDonalds, Chick Filet, Firehouse Subs, and a chineses restaurant within walking distance. Applebee's a very short drive, also walkable.
