We took one of our cats to see Dr. Griffin for the first time. She provided a prompt diagnosis and compassionate care. The staff is wonderful. Each person at Griffin Animal Hospital exhibits a desire to care my pet and make me feel valued as a customer.

Go anywhere but here. They have two nice staff members. Everyone else seems stressed out. It's total chaos with loose animals running around everywhere.

This place is amazing! The staff is so nice and helpful! As a new parent of a new pet, they take time to show you how to care for your new fur baby. They truly love their furry patients. The facility is nice - LOVE the cat room!

Don't take your pets here. My experience here still haunts me to this day. I applied for their receptionist position several years ago after I graduated from USC. I went in for a "work interview," so basically a half day of shadowing the receptionist. I felt a little awkward when a customer walked through the front door because technically I did not work for them yet, and was NOT getting paid. I smiled and quietly said hello. Dr. Griffin happened to walk by during the interaction, and proceeded to scream at me and humiliate me in front of both customers and other staff for "not greeting him." Dr. Griffin and I had not even met yet. The entire rest of the day was filled with her verbally abusing me and other employees. I just politely took it. At one point I had to go to the restroom and I just broke down and sobbed. When I walked out of the restroom, the receptionist asked if I was okay. She said that they had been having issues finding someone to fill the position for a while because of Dr. Griffin and the way she treats her staff. I decided to leave right after that conversation. If she can treat human beings like that, I don't want to know how she treats animals.

My dogs absolutely love this place. We had to board our dogs for a week long cruise and usually when we get back they are really clingy, but we boarded them here for the first time and they were not clingy at all. I could tell they loved the staff which makes me who worries sometimes a very happy customer. I highly recommend this place for boarding as well as veterinary care because one of our dogs is a much older dog and determined she had arthritis in her back legs while we were gone on the cruise because we had no way to contact for care, but they gave her some medication, but as soon as we got off the ship, we called to see how they were doing and we were told about her hind legs, so they took care of her. Again, 10/10 would recommend.

I cannot express how amazing my experiences have been with GAH. If you want an attentive, diligent, and punctual veterinarian, this place is for you. Dr. G cares as if your pet is their own and totally understands protective mammas like myself. If you live in the Columbia area, check Griffin Animal Hospital out, they are the best vet practice I have been to. :)

Everybody in there was genuinely caring & honest. I have never left my dog alone at a vet before ... but I would at this one;)

This is the best vet in Columbia. I found them by accident. First result that came up when I searched the Internet for a vet when I moved to Columbia. I was really lucky I guess. I only know Dr. Callaghan there and she is fantastic. She has seen all 3 of my pets and she really did a great job with all of them. The staff is super nice too and it's the nicest vet facility I have ever seen in my life. I have also boarded my pets there before (2 cats and 1 dog) and have never had any problems. Unfortunately I'll be moving this summer and will have to find a new vet. I am afraid I will never find another place like this again.

Truly the best vet in South Carolina. I have been bringing my dog to GAH since he was 6 weeks old and have received the best care. I recently moved away and having a hard time finding a vet practice anywhere near as good as Griffin Animal Hospital.

My wife and I moved to Columbia a few years ago with our pet cat. We inquired about good vets in the area, and we were referred by one of my wife's coworkers to Griffin AH. Since then, we've added two more cats to the family, and we go to Griffin for all of their needs. We feel that they really care about our fur babies, are always courteous and communicative with us, and have even gone out of their way several times to make appointments for emergent needs. (Our middle cat had a fever at one point, and they squeezed him in same day, kept him an monitored him all day, while communicating with me throughout. Another time I saw a car throw a kitten out its window while driving down Assembly Street, which I recovered, and called them about. They saw him the same day to make sure that he was [miraculously] ok.) What makes this so impressive is that they always seem very busy, so I know it isn't like they just have free time on their hands. They definitely make us feel like they our on our team, and we are happy that they are our vet here in Columbia. Thank you folks for all you do!
