Food Lion on Garners Ferry checks try ti insufficiently check out Black customers in the self- serve line to see if they are stealing. I’ve noticed this several times, but today it was very obvious. A cashier stood by me as I checked out each of my items and when I asked her, may I help you? She said no, but kept watching me. As I was leaving a white couple , who were at the register just before me was not watched. Needless to say. I will never go back to that Food Lion. I will continue to go to Publix where the customer service is fantastic and EVERYONE is treated with respect.

Easy parking, easy to find the items you need. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Prices are good, especially if you have MVP status. Down points: you can't use WIC at the Self Checkout, and don't try to use the Customer Service during high Lotto times. It takes forever to get a money order or any other business.
