Literally the Service Department Sucks. Doesn't answer the phone. Doesn't answer questions about the car. Very weird service department

This remains the worst service department I've ever seen. Scheduled an appointment to diagnose and fix my rear defroster. They refused to honor the appointment THEIR OWN WEBSITE made and said it would require them to keep the car for at least 2 weeks just to run the diagnostic check. Do yourself a favor and avoid anything with Dick Smith in the name. Any shade tree mechanic with access to YouTube could do a better job.

My sons car had a recall on it. We were told that it would take 6 to 8 weeks for the parts to come in. After speaking with the service manager and explaining my sons situation, he was able to procure the parts from another dealership for us. He went above and beyond to help my son. We truly appreciate the hard work by the entire staff to help us out.

I dropped my car off for service back in October of 2022. It's now January of 2023 and I still haven't heard back from the dealership. I've called. But no one answers. When they do, no one can help. Or at least they don't want to. I drove to the dealership twice during this time to ask about the status of my vehicle and both times no one knew for sure what was going on with it. The 2nd time I was there, one employee kindly handed me my keys and said you're welcome to take it home. There was no argument. He was actually very polite about it. This was in December. I said, is the car still being looked at? Is it in line? He said yes and that it should only be another week before it's completed. I said it's already been 2 months, I'd like for the job to be completed. I've called back twice since then (after a week went by) and no answers. The last time I found my car in their lot, I had leaves in my back seat like someone had left the door open and the car is covered in dirt. This is the worst dealership I've ever experienced. I cannot believe they're still in business. I'm going to go pick my car up, job completed or not. It's a company vehicle and my company has been paying for a rental which is why I've been so patient. But now I'm annoyed on behalf of my company. Do not buy from here. Do not get service done here. Even the local authorities said they were not surprised I still didn't have my car back. (I got pulled over in the rental car and we discussed why I didn't have my car). It's pretty bad when the police officer knew how bad it was.

Poor service department. Their phones constantly hang up on you. Their online appointment system is constantly booked or has appointments made out months in advance. They sell fraudulent maintenance contracts and service warranties. You think that you are taking your car to the dealership for service and they sell you maintenance contracts that you cannot even use or they make it inaccessible for you to use at their dealership and so you go to another ford dealership and you get pushed around and charged $70 bucks for an oil change that you already pre-paid for. If you have been a victim of this scam that these dealerships are running, please contact me as only 13 people are needed to make it a class action lawsuit. I've left two messages from someone from this dealership to contact me.

If I could give 0 stars I would! I came from out of town to service my vehicle was promised a week and turned to 2 with NO WORK DONE!!! I already knew what was wrong with the vehicle... Then I call to say enough is enough and they tell me well it's not a big deal come pick it up I guess! TOTAL horse crap! Then on top of it all they drain my diesel to 6 miles to empty and just said "it happens"!!!! Do you know what happens if the pump gets messed up that's thousands of dollars to fix!!!! NEVER AGAIN!!! AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP AT ALL COST!!!!

I brought my 2020 Ford Explorer there due to transmission issues and dropped it off. Shortly after, I was called to come and pick it up. They stated since it had previous warranty work done, they did not want to touch it. So annoying and I don't understand that when the work I needed to be done had nothing to do with the previous work and would be covered under the warranty still.

I do not recommend going to Dick Smith Ford. Jim Hudson, Classic Ford, Lugoff Ford are all better. Car came in for noise underneath, visual inspection only. Wrote on the work order "maybe causing noise." This is how the service technician worded the issue. Car finally broke down and from the photos you can see the driveshaft bolts came out/sheered off/broke which left me stranded. They decided to say the issue came from the exhaust originally with a visual inspection. Then it was the springs, then it was the headers, now it's the supercharger that was installed by Roush/Ford. If you need any service for any vehicle especially Ford please visit the other local dealerships. I have attached the end result that finally happened after pour technician review. Now I have to pick up my vehicle which is 5 hours away cause the Army moved me to VA and have it towed back. Dick Smith Ford, I only have one account with a 1 star review because I can't leave negative stars. You should not assume I am creating multiple accounts to leave multiple bad reviews. If my review helps one person than I did my job. Be happy and go somewhere else.

I had just had my car serviced in Atlanta and they replaced the fuse panel. On the rode to SC towing a trailer I realized I had no trailer brakes. Cynthia in their service department walked me through how to replace it myself and gave me the fuse for free. Thank you Cynthia you were a life saver.

We took my wife's schedule Car for a oil and filter change this past Saturday. After we got home and letting it sit overnight we checked the oil level . It was one and a half quart over full .This is the fourth time this has happened. We returned on Tuesday to have the problem solved as Rick the service manager did not even get up out of his seat to see what our concern was when we pulled up in the car. After they supposedly change the oil we checked it this morning on Wednesday before we cranked it and now it is about a half a quart underfull. Told the sales manager that we will never have changed there again we will go to another place of the Ford dealership family. The manager was supposedly Andy driving a car around for service as we ask for him it took over an hour for him to come back to the dealership. We will never buy from dick smith ford again because of Rick and the service department .

Tell Corey the used car sales manager to wear a mask. My wife walk off and could not believe he walked right up and started talking no mask and in our face.

Brought car in to have a recall preformed, in the process they damaged the cars trim pieces. At first they claimed that it was unavoidable to not damage the trim to access the airbag, then after some pressure they claimed to have photos proving the damage was preexisting. I asked to see the photos, they said they forgot to take them. I returned to have them view the damage they took the car around to the back for about five minutes and said they found the photos. Hell of a coincidence if you ask me, they "found" the photos right after they had my car out of my view. Shady practices here, I'd drive out to a different dealer before ever stepping foot back here

Name says it all...bunch of dicks. The service department likes to locate vehicles in the back by hitting the panic button and letting the alarm go off until they find it. Sometimes the alarm goes off for a few minutes. I was staying at the Hampton Inn right behind the dealer and if you need to sleep during the day because you worked a night shift, you're screwed. I called the dealer to ask if they could stop, and they basically told me to screw off.
