I purchased a Cannondale hybrid bike from The Cycle Center after shopping multiple local bike shops, and several other shops and sports retailers online. They offered the best deal, and surprisingly were the only Cannondale dealer within a 2-hour drive that had inventory in their store I could actually see and try. They allowed me to try out multiple bike sizes, and took the time to make repeated adjustments to try to make the fit as good as possible. After I made my purchase, I rode around the nearby USC campus that I used to walk around during lunch for years. Upon my return to the store, the owner was helpful in getting my new bike into my Honda Civic. I've purchased helmets and minor parts from them before, but this was my first major purchase from them (or anyone). I would recommend them to friends. :)

I took my bike to this bike repair shop for a tune-up, and it runs like new now. The mechanic was thorough and explained everything clearly. The service was completed faster than expected, and the price was reasonable for the work done.

I have been using this bike shop for 25+ years and there's no reason to go anywhere else. I have never met a more knowledgeable, friendlier or more helpful group of people. Not only do they know what they are doing, but they take time to talk to you and explain things. They are also heavily involved in the biking scene in Columbia. I really look forward to going in there, because i always end up in an interesting conversation.
As an example... Years ago i was trying to outfit an old bike with some new parts, which turned into a complete reconfiguration. They helped me find the right parts for cheap off the internet and then put it together for me. That bike ended up being better that it ever was when it was new.
I have also bought several bikes from them. Their selection is awesome and they were very accommodating when i wanted to upgrade parts. (Meaning they gave me credit for the parts i was replacing).

Had an exceptional experience here today. My girlfriend and I are both newbies to the hobby and the staff took great care in fitting us with bikes that fit our need, budget and ability.

I went to this place because the other recommendations, but my experience was completely different.
I went for a replacement and they didn’t know the exactly replacement even when I showed it. They didn’t offer any guide about my bicycle.
They should hire employees focusing on customer service with knowledge.

My endurance bike just wasn’t comfortable, and I had purchased a new seat, pedals and shoes, so I decided to get a new bike fitting using the Retül. Very glad I did. Derek put me on the Retül system, and after a couple hours everything fell into place. The next day I found I had gained 1 MPH on my average time over a one hour course, as well as an increase in the comfort factor. Derek at Cycle Center knows what he's doing and they have the stuff to make your ride better. I’ll go there again.

I've been going to Cycle Center for 20+ years, and they've never let me down!
Truly, they take the time to foster community & knowledge in each cyclist; so, even though I have to drive about 1 hour to reach them, I believe it's worth the trek (pun intended) each time I visit Cycle Center! ✌️ ❤️ ?

IV had work done on two different bikes in the past here at cycle center.. only issue was a negative comment made as I stood there about a bike I had that wasn't bought here.. I let it go.. so anyway, this weekend I needed a new bike as they are my only transportation. I was walking and on my way to Outspoken (trek). But it was supposed to start raining and lightning.. I decided to look up cycle center to see if they too had any sales going on.. while looking at the website there listed in the In Stock section was a rock hopper 27.5 and 29 both with $499 by it.. first thing I thought was that it looked like I was going to get a rock hopper.. but of course I go in and am told that No, there's no $499 rock hopper.. It wasn't a big deal as I was thinking that it was just a way to lure customers in the door.. typical, We don't have the $499 one anymore but here's the $800 one.. long story short, I had to buy a bike that day so I got a rock hopper sport for $800.. as I pushed my new bike outside I wanted to stop and take a look at my new wheels.. it's a gorgeous bike.. but on top of the frame between seat and handlebar there is a small deep scratch. It's hard to see looking at the whole bike. But once you see it, it's the only thing you see. I decided to leave.. there wasn't going to be money back or a new paint job anyway.. I just thought that they could have let me scratch it first.. I'm not upset at them and would buy from them again if there was ever a sale there.. and plus I know that once the New off the showroom floor buzz wears off there'll be plenty of scratches. Thanks.. and Go buy a Rock hopper..!

I took my brother to buy a new bike & brought him here, where I do business, & he was very impressed! WE were so impressed with the knowledge and professionalism of the owners & staff that I bought a new one as well! They took my old bike on consignment & had it sold in no time! Great place, awesome people! I wouldn’t go anywhere else!
