On Sunday, May 12th I drove from out of state to visit Copper Barn Furniture store of Columbia, SC. This store has limited hours of operation. They're only open on Saturday’s and Sunday’s from noon-3.On the 12th they closed an hour early for Mother's Day because working three hours is apparently too much. I arrived at their sketchy looking warehouse at 2:10 and ran into the workers who were closing the store. I told the lady that I had several orders and there was one item I had ordered online that I wanted to see in person. She told me no I couldn’t go in and they only opened for two hours that day. The reason I wanted to look at one of the items I had ordered was to see their appearance and quality. After I placed two big orders from this website I had seen a post about the quality of furniture that had gotten me a bit worried. Then I started comparing what they’ve written about the furniture on their website to other furniture companies. I didn’t see any furniture place have postings about how the furniture lives and breathes with the seasons, often displaying slight movement due to changes in temperature and humidity, or do not drag pieces across the floor as this will cause damage or weaken joints. After telling the lady about how I just wanted to look at one item I had ordered I told her how I’m out of state. That didn’t matter to her. She proceeded to give me this passive aggressive spill about how it was too difficult and inconvenient to let me in.As I’m walking to my vehicle, another customer arrives and I tell her this place is closed. She gets upset too because she has also come from out of state. She asked to go in to get a piece she had ordered and the employee allowed her inside the warehouse. But I wasn't allowed to go inside just to look at one piece.I went online and chatted with the computer because you can’t talk to a person about the issue I had just had on the phone. I wanted to bring this up to them before posting a review. They didn’t care and charged me a stocking fee for all the items I ordered. The stocking fee is outrageous.I’m incredibly displeased with this company's embarrassing lack of customer service. Their hours of operation are laughable and they should move to being an online-only business immediately.I do not recommend doing business with this company because if anything goes wrong with an order you will likely get no customer service and be charged ludicrous restocking fees.

I ordered and paid $1800 for a table and chairs that were delivered last Saturday. Upon delivery I alerted the delivery guy that two of the chairs were damaged and that there was a spot on the tabletop that was a completely different color from the rest of the table. He hit the chairs with some sand paper and this is what I was left with. Globs of what appears to be glue that cardboard was stuck to when they brought this trash in my house. I emailed customer service immediately as instructed to do by the delivery driver and today I received an email reply saying basically that this is a distressed look and they will mail me some touch up paint to fix it myself. This is definitely not distressed. This is damaged. Expensive lesson learned I guess. I will leave these pics everywhere I possibly can do other people can make better decisions than I have.

Ordered a coffee table set for pick up on Wedensday, they emailed back about a pick up time for Saturday or Sunday, picked Saturday at 1pm, we got there 10 minutes early, everything was packed, ready to go. They helped loading it too. Not sure how anyone can give them less than 5 stars

WORST EXPERIENCE!I have been SOOO excited about finally shopping at CBF! I have looked and looked online and but I knew an in person experience was the only way to decide and purchase because my husband has a very crippled back. He needed to “sit” in the chairs before our purchase and decision. We left early Sunday morning from CHARLOTTE. A wreck caused us to arrive 20 minutes before closing. I CALLED one hour before 3 ( closing) to let them know: We were sooo excited about coming to buy some much needed and wanted furniture but we were horrified by the delay bc of an accident on the interstate and would they still be open at 2:40. The girl said: well… we will be closing at 3.I said ok…. No worries then.. we will hurry!!!!We arrived and I RAN INSIDE to explain we would be buying but it would be quick. . The owner, EXTREMELY PREOCCUPIED with putting everything in order to close up…had NOTHING TO SAY. It was clear she didn’t care.. AT ALL!We asked her about several dining sets and she looked at the prices on her computer. VERY DISMISSIVE. We were wanting so badly for her to HELP US find the right set.It became very clear that she didn’t want to help us.She mentioned shopping “online” multiple times. This explains why they are only opened Sat and Sun for several hours. We left abruptly after the constant dismissive and short answers given us. Not a shred of interest in customers who drive from Charlotte and were clearly wanting to buy!! As SOON AS OUR BODIES crossed their threshold outside… the young girl assisting, locked the door behind us. ?I’m old. I’m experienced with buying furniture and shopping. This type of furniture is “new” and exciting for me. It’s different and certainly not top of the line, but a fun look.Several things:I will not give CB any of my $$. No biggy. I’m sure the owner could care less. She proved that today! If you must have anything from here, for heavens sake.. order online! The owner lacks compassion, empathy, patience. Perhaps she is tired of this business? Perhaps it’s time to retire?Customer service is everything.. especially when someone has driven miles away and needs assistance and attention!?!?!?! Dismissive behavior is frankly disgusting.

Ordered a table - the table is cracked and has a piece of wood that is misaligned and unfinished. Contacted them - they refuse to reply or respond at all. Buyer beware!

Absolute WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! Lots of horrible reviews on multiple sites. Owner snaps back at every negative review. These people should not be in contact with the public or take lessons on customer service. Rude owner. I was soooo excited to drive from Charlotte to make purchases. We got delayed by a wreck on the interstate so I called to make sure they were not closing early... they firmly confirmed they would be closing at 3pm. Once we entered... they were putting things in order to close. Every question we had was dismissed by owner. She absolutely DID NOT WANT TO HELP US... she referred to their "online sales" multiple times. Why have a store front... 2days a week/ several hours only?? Finally I walked out... I wouldn't give them a penny of my money. BTW... a customer wrote a legit negative review about a horrible experience. COPPER BARN owner... went on their business website ( NEVER DID BUSINESS WITH THEM) and left a bad review!! These are the type of people that own this store.

I will start by saying Copper Barn did make it right by fully refunding me for a bedroom set I purchased. However, I can’t recommend buying online and having something shipped to your home. The furniture was extremely dirty, a film of sawdust on every piece as well as sawdust in all drawers. The drawers on our dresser were not put together properly and would not work, the rails hadn’t been screwed in the correct spots. The options we were given was a $100 e-gift card to their website or sending it back for a full refund. We chose the refund as a $100 gift card wouldn’t help us in any way. While the drawers could probably have been repaired no one buying brand new furniture at this price should have to do that. Beware if ordering online, if going in person I would say inspect it very well before leaving. This process was a huge headache and now I still need furniture.

Received my kitchen set when I was away for work. The set looks beautiful but the chairs are completely crooked. I called within 2 maybe 3 weeks to have them looked at and was told it was too late ! Now the one seat of the chair is split in half and the table is cracking all over the place. I can not get any help or answers. My set is 3 months old !!

Ordered a bedroom set and its absolutely beautiful! Great quality and I love it! Not to mention the delivery guys were absolutely amazing! They brought it all in and it was delivered with no flaws. I wish I would've found copper barn sooner, I would've ordered all my furniture from them. Great prices too! Very happy customer!?

Bought a dining set and chairs from here about a year ago and the stain/ finish is already started to wipe off the table when I wipe it down with just a wet rag. Beautiful furniture, but disappointed in the quality of it. I truly though that something like this would last longer than a manufactured piece from a big box furniture store. I hate to say I'll have to refinish my table soon.

Just received my bedroom furniture and I couldn’t be happier! I was nervous ordering it online and not seeing it in person. The quality is good and looks amazing. They delivered it way earlier than I expected and the two delivery men were very nice and professional.

Be sure to go check out furniture yourself. Walked in, two people at counter staring at phone didn’t even look up. Found what we were looking for. Cheaply made: Drawers would barely open and close. Asked if they had people to load up. She said no, I can kinda help. Left. Horrible product and experience….Response - After reading all your horrible reviews I was excited to see what excuses you had in response to my review like you always have. Your employees answered a question I had when I walked up to them playing on their phones and after checking out how heavy the furniture was that I was going to have to move myself, I noticed how horribly the furniture was made. Be an owner and handle your issues instead of having an excuse for everything!

Literally in town today 4/21 and heading back to Atlanta 4/22. Called to verify a table was in stock and it was. I was informed they were only open Saturday and Sunday and they absolutely could not accommodate me coming to pay over $1700 for a table and picking it up today or tomorrow. Literally too lazy to come in and make a sale especially for someone who found your business online while out on business. What a joke
