Had an unplanned visit and was skeptical due to reviews. So i was pleasantly surprised because rooms were maybe a bit dated but overall pretty decent. They were clean and staff was very accommodating. Beds were very comfortable. Would definitely stay again

AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COSTS. Booked a 2 night stay and in the middle of our stay I had an EXTREMELY sentimental piece of jewelry go missing in between those 2 days. The general manager claimed that the housekeepers “threw away” my necklace bc they thought it was costume jewelry. Even so, WHY ARE YOU THROWING AWAY ANYTHING OUT OF OUR ROOM IN THE MIDDLE OF OUR STAY??? Then she stated the housekeeper claimed “it was missing stones” even though I supplied proof that was a lie. I told the GM I was not satisfied with that answer and her response was “file a police report” and she then blocked my phone number from the property’s main phone line. I am absolutely disgusted with the GM’s attitude and response, book at the Hilton down the street if you can!

Our room was a bit rundown. It is about 15 minutes from USC. It is near a few decent restaurants and far enough from the main road that it is quiet.
Rooms: Last year the rooms were great but this year there were a few issues (broken toilet paper holder, missing tv remote). Perhaps we just got a bad room.

The rooms were clean and the breakfast was plentiful and very good. The staff was very nice and attentive. The indoor pool was a bit chilly but it was still very clean. There was so much chlorine in the pool it burned my eyes a bit without ever going under the water. My biggest complaint is that the room keys never worked. I had to get new ones and even those were having trouble. We spent a lot of time trying to get our room door open because the keys weren’t working right and that’s definitely a downer. Otherwise, good experience.

I have stayed and booked many of hotels for business, but by far this was the worst experience I have ever had. Our reservation was for three nights. The first night the room we stay (RM 309) the air conditioner was not cooling the room. Went down and spoke to the night person. She was very nice and said to come back in the morning so we could change room. The morning the gentleman that was at the desk said he would switch the room once one was clean. Because we didn’t have much luggage he asked that we take it with us and when we came back the keys to the new room would be at the desk waiting. When we came back and different person said that she didn’t doing in the computer about changing room. They had booked room 309 and the only room they had available was Room 417. She said there was an issue with lock and for my daughter to check it out first. When she up to the room the maintenance guys told her that it wasn’t fixed and that he wouldn’t be able to fix it until morning. The door wouldn’t latch or lock. The lady at the desk said there was nothing that could be done about it because that was they only room available. The only option was to stay in that room or find another hotel. When I spoked to the GM she said it was that room or nothing. Now she is refusing to refund me the for the two night we didn’t stay there.
Safety: Was expected to stay in a room where the door would not latch or lock.

The staff the first couple days were very nice. The rooms have paper thin walls. You can hear every noise. On day 3 the staff change was terrible. The staff claimed room 103 is under 207. Claimed sleeping children in 207 were making noise. Would not admit that it was actually room 217 that is above 103. Two very loud toddlers in that room that ran up and down thr hallways until at least 10. Manager lives on the 4th floor. Came to discuss noise in her night clothes. Still insisted that she knows the hotel and room 207 directly over the desk and work room is actually over 103. 103 is past the pool. Terrible customer service. Will never stay again. 5 people in the room would only give 3 towels two nights in a row. Claimed they had a towel shortage. Pool has way too much chemicals in it. Went for about 10 minutes had to leave as our eyes were burning and we were coughing so bad we could not catch our breathe. Room was not clean. Coffee spilled down sheets snd mattress. Floor was so disgusting that our white socks were broken after walking across them.

We stayed one night in our travels. The elevator and hallway stank really bad. The beds were so low and uncomfortable. It killed my grandmother's back. We were told breakfast was 6am - 10am and by 9am they were out of items and packing up. The breakfast staff was also unaccommodating.
The girl who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. The room and the bathroom was clean and roomy. We had 2 adults and 3 kids and didn't feel crowded in the room.
Food and drinks: We were told breakfast was 6am - 10am and by 9am they were out of items and packing up. They told us they had no more waffle batter. Also the trays of hot food were empty with only crumbs.

This is the worst hotel that I have ever stayed at in my life. Not only did they charge me for two nights stay before I even arrived but it smelt horrific. We had to switch rooms because the first rooms air did not work and it was wet, the floor was wet, the sheets were wet, everything. The 2nd room that we got moved to smelled horrific, the sheets had brown speckles on them almost looked like dead bugs, the hallway smelt like weed, it was gross. There were shady people in the parking lot apparently it looked like drug dealing and people getting drunk and loud. I still have not gotten my deposit back nor have I been refunded for the 2nd nights stay bc we left at 8am the next morning.
