Terrible service at a high price resulting in more problems than I had when I took my car to them. It now has a leak they cannot identify as their knowledge is limited. Made promises they did not follow through on. Acted like they cared and would get back with me with a resolution. I never heard from them. Somehow this did not surprise me. I would give them zero stars but the default was 1.

Trenton did a very thorough job of keeping me informed throughout the repair process! In addition, I very much appreciated Brown Motor Works’ assistance with the warranty company in detailing the items that would and would not be covered with the repair. Very helpful!

I was very pleased with Brown Motors services & the timely fashion they had everything done ! Also , the staff were very professional & took their time in explaining any questions I had @ the time of service …..I will definitely be using them again on upcoming repairs on my Landrover !Service: Oil change

Brought in my 2014 VW Jetta SE to be diagnosed for a check engine light. Although the final quote for repairs that was provided to me is relatively expensive (as should be expected for a foreign car), the shop was at least able to quickly and efficiently inspect my vehicle thoroughly in a two-day span. Thank you!

Brought my car in, although the service was thorough, I originally left unsatisfied due to the customer service and lack of communication. However, after speaking to the owner, he immediately fixed my issue. I appreciate how prompt he was. Thank you for everything! I definitely recommend coming if you need your vehicle serviced.

So we bought a mini cooper, the battery would just die suddenly. Had a diagnostic test done at Firestone, said battery, alternator, starter were fine. So carried it to browns. After a day, they said it was the starter. I said I had that tested, it was fine. They said they got a special “code” that said it was the starter causing the problem. I trusted them. Not to mention they came up with about $3000 worth of other problems that needed fixing. So paid $1550 to replace starter. Day of getting it back, didn’t crank again. While my girlfriend was out working. Left her stranded. Don’t trust them. If I could leave 0 stars I would.

I was sent to Brown's motor works by Land Rover because they did not have an opening til November 30. I went BMW on clemson road. Trent was the Csr up front taking info on oct 5,23... I scheduled to bring my truck on oct 12. I informed Trent this was my only means of transportation, he assured me truck would be done by Friday. They had my truck all day Thursday and all day Friday. The communication was thru text and I was calling all day on oct 13, I missed work and had to Uber. I was never offered a loaner and when I was told by Land Rover they give Loaners. when I brought this to Trent attention he stated he had no loaners at either location. So now I was without my truck not fixed and I had to rent a car for entire week $402. Per Trent they are going to take care me. And he's working on car rental reimbursement. He states my oil change and diagnostic would be no charge. When he sent the estimate today 10/16/23 it was $1200. i guess he thought I am stupid because I'm a female. I screen shot my first estimate for oil change and diagnostic and that alone was $440. I looked up the parts from 3 parts stores online and my parts came to roughly $530. the estimate trent sent me was showing he was charging me for 3 parts only. 1. $410.40 remove replace oil vent separator 2. $629.93 engine crankcase vent valve and 3. Timing plug $68. 4. Job supplies $107.28. Total with tax $1280.03. My search engine crankcase vent valve LR110464. $198.17, oil/air sep Land Rover LR025615 $94.69, timing plug tool kit $219.95. Those 3 parts from 4 different part stores total $512.81 and these are the actual parts no generics. So let's add up my parts $512.81, oil change $190 and diagnostic $220 (suppose to be free per me estimate) total$922.81 + 8% tax (73.82)=$996.63! Let's add the difference from my grand total and their total and that is the labor $283.40. So please tell me what the fuck they gavee free. how did they look out for me. I lost a day of work, and i'm out $400 for my rental! Brown Motors is a big rip off when it comes to service. and the customer service. I've asked to speak to a manager and yet has not gotten one. just because I'm a female doesn't mean I Dnt know anything. I will be writing the attorney general office because they did not honor one thing they said. And Trent did not mention a loaner at all today. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE. IF LANDROVER COUD HAVE GOTTEN ME IN I PREFER THEM, their customer service is outstanding and they do take care of you when giving a discount if they have to take longer than expected. THE OWNER IS A CHEAT!this was such a horrific and horrible experience, I'm definitely trading this land rover off in december. if Land Rover and Brown Motors are the only places to fix Land Rover it's not worth the hassle. STAY AWAY FROM BROWN MOTORS ON CLEMSON RD. You can thank me later!Anjunette G.

My experience at Brown Motors was pleasant, and friendly as a matter of fact Brown Motors treated us like family. Brown Motors took great care of our baby aka car. My experience with Brown Motor Works was phenomenal. It was professionalism from beginning to the finish. They assessed my vehicle, located the issue, and fixed my vehicle in a timely manner. They provided me with a dependable loaner vehicle while my car was being fixed; so I never skipped a beat travelling back and forth to work. My vehicle was diagnosed to identify all issues. I was sent a link to approve all repairs I wanted completed. Trenton was excellent! He corresponded with me and also told me about the snap program to assist if you needed loan assistance! Browns is my forever home for my car repairs and I highly recommend them to anyone! Only downer was my vehicle was left outside a unsecured gate to be picked up. With the raising crime rate this could have resulted in an insurance claim.Service: Electrical repair

Great experience! Easy in easy out with a fair charge for service as well. Would highly recommend to family and friends. Trenton, the service representative, was very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. He treated everyone with the same highly respectful attitude that enter Brown Motor Works Northeast. Needless to say, I was overwhelmingly impressed from the moment I enter this place of business up to my departure. In my personal phenomenon, I must say a word(s) about Brown Motor Work, they are “SECOND TO NONE AND FIRST IN CUSTOMER SATISFACTION.”
