This is my first time here.2.5 hours for an oil change. Seems like they may want to dedicate an oil change lane only. Maybe they do and are just slow.They really looked over the whole underneath of the car. Checking brakes and tires and such.Very satisfied

Mike Liberatore with Columbia BMW gave me the best buying experience I have ever had in my life - he is a great listener, communicator, very friendly, not pushy, attentive…. I drove from Charleston SC 2 hours to Columbia BMW because my friend recommended Mike even though we have BMW dealership at Charleston. I’ll work with Mike again in the future and highly recommend him and Columbia dealership to everybody.

Mike Liberatore was amazing from the first phone call to a 5-hour drive to pick up the car. Best car buying experience in all my buying cars although this car was bought by my daughter. Her first time buying a car and it was a 20 out of 10. Customer service, friendliness till the time we left and gave us water to make the drive back home. We definitely will be buying all our cars from him again. And we own 5 BMW now. Can not express into words how efficient and amazing this was. Took longer to drive there than to finish paper work and get everything out the door maybe 1 hour tops that included a test drive of the car.Thank you again for the outstanding service.

Absolutely amazing!! I dealt with Preston and he was so professional, quick and awesome to work with. In less than 24 hours he was able to get me the deal I wanted, agree on a trade in price and have the car ready for pick up. It made the entire car buying experience such a joy. And I got to drive off in my dream car.

I was surprised about the wait for an oil change and three simple checks. The seat belt is still twisted though nothing was found to be wrong with it. We couldn’t get an appointment to have a loaner so I had to wait and I live 25 minutes away so not able to get someone to come get me. Just have never had to wait that long with any other car I’ve had, BMW or other. I also waited another 20 minutes after receiving a text the service had been completed. I arrived at 9:20 and left at 12:54!

Great experience from initial interaction with client advisor to closing and key handoff. Treated with respect and not pressured.Addition: Had to get a tire replaced today after picking up a nail from the road. Called ahead to confirm they had the tire, then in and out in just 35 minutes, including a complimentary wash and vacuum, late on a Saturday afternoon. Very impressive.

I don’t normally take the time out to send reviews, but this time it is deserving ! The BEST service I have received on any cars, and I have owned all the luxury foreign cars. What I appreciated most about this location is that it was not pretentious or stuffy (as many of these kinds of dealerships can be) and the service reps (all of them) were phenomenal! Nuff said. :)

The service department at this dealership should be retrained and evaluated regularly on their performance. We had an 8am appointment, arrived on time and ended up waiting 30 minutes to check-in. We watched the service representatives sit at their desk’s pretending to work (not helping customers) while the line got longer and longer. Finally after about 30 minutes of pretending they started checking us in. We expected more from a high end BMW dealership because we also have an Audi and Mercedes. We have never received substandard customer service from Audi or Mercedes. If the service representatives do not like they jobs they should find employment elsewhere.

Customer service at this location is low class & mediocre at best. All BMW drivers are loyal, dedicated, & anal about their vehicle. We expect the level of service at the dealership that we get from our cars.BUT NOT IN THIS SERVICE DEPARTMENT. First of all they LOST MY KEY FOB. Not only did my particular SA NOT CALL ME BACK I was passed off with a 'a customer called & said they had a key fob in their car that wasn't theirs but they're on vacation until Monday.' Cool I wait the Monday no call. Tuesday no call. So I had to call the department. Marc never came to the phone nor did the guy that assisted knew of the issue. So I go on the website & chat yo a formal complaint. Lo & behold a call.I'm told they will replace the fob & will send an email to scan the registration & license. A week later NO EMAIL. So I drive up. Stand in the SD for five minutes, no acknowledgment. Two military members same. After 10 minutes we get a 'someone will be right with you' while 3-THREE-SAs are on their computers. Still waiting. Unreal.

STAY AWAY!!! This was quite honestly the worst BMW dealership I have ever dealt with. I had been a loyal customer at BMW Columbia for years while I was in South Carolina for school. After moving to DC, I took my car into a new BMW service center and they informed me of years worth of damage that was never mentioned by BMW Columbia. I am also currently still paying off a service charge from Columbia that the new dealership now tells me wasn't even the problem. This dealership has friendly customer service but has a service department full of people who clearly don't know how to diagnose BMW issues properly. Save yourself some money, go to a different service center, or at the very least, get a second opinion on whatever they try to "fix" for you.I second on everyone's complaints about lack of communication also. There were so many times when I would drop my BMW off here for a very simple fix, and it would take them days to give me an update. The service department particularly also doesn't know how to pick up the phone when you call.

The second time around was a whole lot better for me. I just purchased a 740 I and my salesman name was Preston. He was open and very honest with me and made my experience great. He assured me that he had my back and would make everything right for me. Preston did exactly what he said he would do. The whole experience made me feel appreciated and valued. Thank you to the whole staff for a great time and looking forward to doing business again.
