EDIT: 12 months later and under new ownership the dryers appear different and hopefully replaced.I have used this location every week since 2010 and today will certainly be my last. 6am this Sunday morning I discovered feces in the dryers. I placed a quarter in 3 dryers so I can discover which ones actually heat. That's when I heard the cling-clang of a fecal matter rolling around in one. I also noticed there was actually pieces of it in the floor too. I double checked the two dryers I was using and they smelled and looked fine. I don't know what I was thinking letting it run a full cycle. After 32 minutes all of my clothes smelled as worse as you can imagine. Everything was ruined.All of the reviews you read are true. The washers will lock your clothes for ransom. The dryers are a gamble to discover which actually work. Its not only been months but years since the change machines have worked. A carwash over 1 mile away had to invest in a token system because the Washerette customers were draining the quarters. That's why none of the neighboring businesses offer change to anyone. There is an ancient change machine hidden in the back that only works once per 10 minutes. I suspect because its older than the money being fed into it and has outdated security measures.The "bathroom" doesn't have a sink. I suspect they want everyone to use the giant washtub in the public area as a handwashing station. The only investment I've seen in years is the camera system and even since it has only gotten worse. The door windows have been busted out. The dryer's coin mechanism have been vandalized. The front and back doors are never locked. The back door area is very shady and is for truckers access.For decades this location has served the residents within walking distance very well. Sadly, commercial developers have been allowed to overdevelop our little town. This single location serves the entire town with no other options. The once manageable quirks about this place has only lead to people disrespecting it and making it worse. Management has failed to provide a minimum level of reliable service.

Not sure who has been reviewing this place but it's a mess! Machines are filthy!!!! I drove 10 miles to come here based on reviews, paid extra for HOT water on 2 machines and it's tap cold - not even warm. I don't recommend this place, at all.

I came back after several months of not going here only because I live closer to it than the other one I've been going to because I seen a sign that said "new management" . Anyways the dryers still take forever to dry a small load of laundry. The washers look like they are updated..the price has definitely been upped..But ya I'm glad there's new people running it and actually doing things to upgrade the place. ????

Went this morning. Used 4 dryers.. 2 of them had 1 blanket in it. 3.00 in qtrs later and 1 hour drying they are still wet!!!!!!! The other two had pillows in them.. same thing still wet after a hour. Temp setting was on high.... also used hot water setting on washer which charges more and the water was ice cold.

My clothes are locked in the washing machine and no one will answer the phone. It goes to voicemail and the voice mail is full so NO HELP!?!? WHAT AM I SUPPOSE TO DO

Mole are in the washing machines.Coin change never work. Dyers don't get hot or a large amout are not working.Dirty Dirty Dirty place to wash clothes.

During this cold snap of weather our pipes froze. So we had to come here to do laundry. I was shocked when I saw plywood for the front door. Change machine didn't work. Almost all the washers said out of order. Most of the dyers didn't work either. The three dryers I used after 40 minutes, my clothes still felt wet! Kinda a shame ppl depend on this washerette, end up spending more money to try and get your clothes dry...

Change machine never works. If you drive a distance to get there bring quarters. 9 x's out of 10 it won't change your money. No business in the area will help out with giving change.Otherwise, the washers work okay. Socks end up in the lip of the door lid. Dryers are okay.Frustrating most of the time. Would be great if the biggest problem the change machine was resolved.
