We so love the location and people in this special place that we stay here each time we are in town. The location on campus cannot be beat and is walking distance (>1mi). If you are a golfer, this course is beautiful.

James F. Martin Inn in Clemson, SC is a must as long as it is not Football Weekend!! The Martin Inn exudes class while pulling up being next to the famed Walker Golf Course!! Plus the Clemson Conference Center is here at this location as well. Very impressed with the courteous staff and the clean room. Most of the rooms are individually owned and the owners have priority to stay here especially on football weekends. Still great rate for sizable suite with 2 Queen Beds and a Sleeper Sofa with a Kitchenette. Excellent choice here in Clemson! Easy 5 Stars !!

I have been here a few times. I have never had a negative experience. The conference center is also very nice. I attended an awards ceremony one evening and it was great. The hotel and conference center was very clean and professional staff. There is a golf course and lake near by. Your also in the heart of clemson. Short distance to all Clemson University properties.

Nice location and room but A/C unit was moldy. staff wouldn't allow even a 30min late check out, leaving me driving 10 hours with a sweaty soccer player. Disappointed!

What a gem!!! Stayed here while on a college tour of Clemson University. When we arrived the first thing I noticed was the grounds were immaculate. Our room was sparkling clean and as we headed out we passed our housekeeper who quickly introduced herself as Brenda and said if we need anything while we were here to let her know and asked us if our room was to our satisfaction. We thanked her for making it shine for us. She said she had work here for 20 yrs and she just loved this place. It shows... Keep up the southern hospitality James F. Martin Inn.
