I sent them a clear picture that showed my bimini going over the tower with a written message that I was concerned the bimini could not go under the tower because I was concerned my tower was too low and there were also speakers. The customer service reps do not get any training to assist customers properly. Now I am stuck with a $1200 bimini that does not fit my boat. BUYER BEWARE! They do not even sell biminis that go OVER the tower ?

Bought a cover from them that did not fit my boat. I was not happy due to how close to the winter we were to replace a winter cover...We discussed options with other manufacturers and I settled on a different one. Megan was instrumental in walking me through the process of finding a replacement and returning the old one. Her communication was TOP NOTCH; always quick and professional. I can't speak to other's (negative) experiences, but this company delivers the kind of service that will keep me coming back. Kudos to Megan and the Covers Direct team.

I purchased a console cover for my pontoon console. It is supposed to have a cover with snaps and eight screw studs. The boater installs the screw studs to the console, and wallah, your cover snaps in place. My cover was shipped without any snaps installed on the cover. No biggie, mistakes happen. I've contacted the distributor, this business also known as Covers Direct to ask for help at correcting the issue. Pleasant on the phone, with absolutely zero follow-up or communication. After 11 days of silence after multiple attempts to engage them, I had to contact the manufacturer of the cover for help. I have two boats, one a pontoon and one a center console. I will NEVER buy another product from them, nor would I recommend them for any product.***UPDATE TO ABOVE**** Changed my rating from 1 to 4. They delivered! Although we had a hiccup with a second cover being shipped incorrectly, they stuck with me, and expediated another cover. I appreciated their customer service (especially Jonnie) and effort to get us the right product. We are looking forward to installing it on our boat.

I ordered my canopy in April. Submitted photos and provide the exact measurements asked for and others I thought would be relevant. rai recieved the cover in late June to find its no where near the measurements I gave them. My overall width was 116 inches and they sent me a top thats 106 inches. when I told them they sent for the top to be return and emailed me telling they are now unsure because that manufacture never made the lift in a 23 ft version and if they make one and it doesn't fit they won't honor a return. But in the beginning you assured me you could figure out the manufacture from pictures and measurements. So my understanding from this is you never paid attention to the measurements I originally gave you, if you did you would have told me that back in April that your "expert" is unsure not the weekend of 4th of July. Furthermore, If I want the second non-returnable cover it would take 11-12 more weeks.

I have a 25 year old aluminum boat that I am giving to my son because he grew up in that boat. I am about to haul it 1,800 miles across country with a lot of gear loaded in the boat. I wanted a cover to keep the gear hidden in motel parking lots, and to keep stuff from blowing out on the road. I ordered a cover from Boat Covers Direct from their website. I specified the make, model, and size of my boat on their site. The new cover just arrived and it is now on my boat. The fit is perfect and the quality appears to be excellent! They quoted me thirty days lead time for a custom build, and that's almost exactly what it took. I would definitely buy from this company again.

Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I ordered my boat cover in November 2020. When it didn't arrive by January I emailed and called them. They finally got back to me and told me it would be another two weeks, so I waited. When it hadn't arrived by February I emailed a number of times to cancel the order and ask for a refund. By the end of March I realized I never received my refund so I called back. They told me they had shipped it anyway (to a house I no longer lived in) and being they had shipped it I could not get a refund, even though they agree I cancelled it in February. They are claiming I should have also called and not just emailed the help desk and therefore it's my fault I didn't get it. The whole thing is a total scam!!!! DO NOT shop here, they will take your money and blame you when they screw up.

I would definitely do business again with this company and their team. My experience with them was very positive. The reason is that they stand behind their products and help resolve issues when they arise, which is the hallmark of a great company. My specific situation is that the original PWC covers that I ordered did not fit my watercraft. The customer service representatives (Natalie and Shannon) were very helpful in finding a covers that did fit, and helped me through the exchange process. I plan to go back to them in the future for any of my other cover needs.

Having ordered a top specifically for our boat, what this company sent us did not fit. They were not willing to do an exchange for a product that would fit. Order at your own risk.No, this order was not placed in April 2019, it was placed in December 2019. Please let me know where you'd like me to send the order number.

I waited 4-5 weeks for a cover for my sons boat to arrive. I assumed this was the norm , but when I called to check, I was told there was a prob with my billing , (which they claim to have figured out). And the order was just recently "re-placed". ( restart the 5 week clock ) . I dont believe this to be true at all because the other half of the same order was delivered earlier with No issues. Certainly some one should have contacted me if there really was a issue with my credit card after I received a confirmation. Or at min maybe put a rush on my misplaced order. Ordered a bimini after talking to “customer service” and being assured it would ship in 5-10 days max. Well its 20 DAYS and it still hasn’t shipped! Every time I speak to them it “will ship end of the week” well another end of the week passed and nothing has shipped. I understand that COVID has messed with everything, I work EMS I see it everyday, but this is exactly why I called to check on any delays and was assured no problem 5-10 day max. Well guess what, it been 20 day and still nothing has even shipped!! This is classic tell me whatever it takes over the phone so I place the order knowing full well that it would never be on time. Now when I call, chat, or email I’m told everything from, next week, end of the week, to tomorrow. Well which is it?? You’ve got my money so mission accomplished for you but I don’t even have a top being made as far as I can see! Pathetic effort and a poor company! I’m glad I waited to order a $1000.00 plus dollar cover until I could get a look at the quality. I still don’t know about Carvers workmanship but BOATCOVERSDIRECT customer service is awful!

I spent $655 on an exact fit cover for my boat, which fits horribly . Even with supports in both the bow and cockpit areas, the cover still pools water. This is supposed to be a mooring cover, and I cannot use it for its intended use. Total waste of money
